DPF issue is a serious problem in a 2.8L Diesel engine.

You can't simply clean the DPF.

Its not like air cleaner.

you have to clean the DPF for a long period of time because it stores carbon on it

How about the DPF issue for the new 2.8 diesel engine use in furtuner and hilux.?

the 1.6liter idtec diesel engine produces 120hp, mas mahina pa eto sa 1.8liter petrol engine ng civic. not

good in terms of power to weight ratio. the correct engine should be the 2.2 liter diesel engine sold in europe.

again the japanese guys try to shortchange us.

 

recommend you buy either the 2.2liter idtec engine or the 2.4liter petrol engine.

mas fuel efficient pag hindi underpowered.

i will not buy it, maybe with isuzu engine.

for less maintenance worries, consider engines with timing gears instead of a timing belt. timing gears virtually last the lifetime of the engine. as far as i know, nissan and isuzu engines use timing gears.

the only disadvantage is noisy engine.
