do they still sell dragonfly sneakers there ?
Are you referring to Ino? Wala na sila sa Vira Mall. I don't know if they transferred or closed shop already. I remember dragon fly. I haven't seen those in decades.

Does anyone know of a store selling loafers with W width? I tried Bass, florsheim, Dexter, Rockport, etc and all are Ms. I checked out Cash & Carry and Kartimar already also. I need 8W. I am looking for either penny loafer style or like the one of Ferragamo. Either leather sole or driving shoes style. Price should be 4K max.
There was one shoe store I used to go to in Virra Mall called Ino. I wonder where they are now? Halata bang old school na?

Right now, I only have 3 - Seiko chrono, Timex chono and a Casio G shock. If I had the funds, I already know what to get from a lot of the brands -- Rolez oyster perpetual day/date, Omega speedmaster professional, Patek, Hamilton, IWC, etc. I like vintage watches too.

Dude, this is what we are talking about. No frills design.
Haha must be showing my age. Medyo tawid na nga ako ng high school and college during those days. May nagbalita sa akin baka dawRiverbanks or Robinson's Galleria. Will try Galleria then let you know as well.
Thanks, Cheers!

You must be from the 80's! That was "in" then along with Pro Keds. Goes nice with shorts, jeans and even chinos. I'm looking for one myself. Kung wala na sa Mega Mall, mejo mahirap na ata maghanap. Anyway, balitaan kita kung may makita ako.

Excellent pictures!
Hitman531ph,
Where did you get your pictures? They're great! Or are they just from a book? I have been looking for pictures to frame and hang them on my wall. Especially the one I saw in Museo Pangbata. It is a panoramic view of Pasig River in the 40's with Jones Bridge in the forefront and the buidlings of alongside the river in the background. Complete with billboards and signs (not sure if neon) of American companies that were present here in that era.
Hope you can help me out.
Thanks!

Used to be m/t and said that I will never go for a/t. Now I am driving an automatic. Very convenient. I'm not tired after driving unlike before when I was driving a manual.

Brother's Burger with teriyaki sauce. Just get a side order of the sauce and have them put it on the sandwich already. Then the burger with caramelized onions at Hotshots.

I have been trying to develop the habit of reading but it's either I get bored, impatient or fall asleep. I will keep on trying.

Though this is not a bar, BBQ Central (or is it Central BBQ) is a good option. Good food and best of all, CHEAP! They have branches in Paranaque, Las Pinas and I think even Pasig area.

Joey's Special at Magoo's. Next would be Ham and Cheese at Greenwich -- pang lasang pinoy. The Chef's Special in Cafe Francais in BF Homes Paranaque is very good as well.

i want to ship my personal effects to africa, how can i do that?
where do i start?
If you are also shipping you furntiure, appliances and other breakables, it is best that you contact household moving companies that has agents or offices abroad. They will still contact an international freight forwarder to ship your goods and mark-up on the cost of freight, making it higher, but they pack your items well and it will be safe. Then again, if you contact a freight forwarder directly, they will also contact a household moving to pack your goods and mark-up on that cost as well.
If you are just shipping some really personal items (no brakables) and will fit in a few cartons that you can pack yourself, then you can contact an international freight forwarder directly.
Look in the yellow pages under household removals, moving, freight, cargo, shipping.
