Just bought one two mondays ago and I find all things in order as of now. The only drawback is that it has no optical drives since this notebook is primarily designed for web surfing and typing e-mails. It is, however, powerful enough to run most of the good games in the market, specially if they gave you a free upgrade to 2GB RAM. I am using the EEPC as I write this post.

Does anybody know what cards offer an automatic increase in credit limit without being asked to do so? I have read in this thread that BDO does this. I also have heard of stories that HSBC also makes automatic increases.

anyone used their visa/mastercard credit card between august 16-18 that was swiped in a bdo terminal? if you did, don't be surprised to find that your purchase was billed in dollars mistakenly and converted to pesos. apparently, there was a glitch in the bdo system in the hand-off to the different banks that resulted in bloated charges ( like a P137K charge for nike shoes that should have cost P3K only ). hopefully, they will be able to reverse everything within the week but be prepared to be declined in case you use your card. i think affected cardholders included cardholders of citibank, hsbc, bpi and any other bank that carries visa or mastercard ( as long as the terminal used in swiping was a bdo terminal, which is usually the case for sm malls).

I agree with you mam. I also have a similar case but mine was a BPI-Petron mastercard. I purchased gas worth P500 last Aug. 18 but i was charged P22,000 for that. Just now BPI has already corrected the error.

No. The most that they can do is to run after your personal property thru a court proceeding.

yup as early as now nagtitingin2x na ako sa mga computer shops for possible combinations. gusto ko kasi sana pang-matagalan na din kasi sayang kung bibili ako ng low-end pero mga 1yr lang hindi na nya kaya yung mga bagong applications. but as advised by you and sir pcg ayoko din siguro ng super high end kasi masyadong overpowered for home use.

Nilalaro ko na to ulit kasi nakaka-miss. And besides I haven't finished this yet up to hell mode. Hanggang nightmare lang ako pero hindi ko pa nga natapos. Hehe.

I'm currently using a Pure Druid Summoner and Concentrator Barbarian character builds. The Concentrator took me up to nightmare but unfortunately I discontinued due to my studies. Nawala ko na yung file ko kaya I have to start all over again.

bro, wag ka muna bumili ng PC this year. Wait ka muna, kasi lalabas na yung mga bagong processor at motherboard late this year. Late next year or early 2010 pa naman ang Diablo 3. You have the money to spend naman, kaya wait mo yung X58 chipset ng intel w/c supports SLI and Crossfire and mga bago pang video cards.

gnun b? anyway im planning to build it naman when D3 announces its final release date so that I will still have time to test my rig. At talagang ipapaassemble ko lang ito para sa D3 since i'm avid fan. For the past two versions I have been utilizing the full extent of its graphics capabilities. However because of Windows Vista and today's state of the art gaming platforms, I feel that I will really need to push my PC to the limit with this new version.

Thanks sir! Other than for the memory which I wanted to be at 4GB, I think this is a pretty good rig. So siguro i'll prepare 50-55t for this.

except that at least you have 2 cards for emergency ( one is for back up) . more often than not (my experience) some establishments just dont accept some cards or they have some connections problem. OR it would be also nice if your 2 cards due dates falls on different dates say, on the 15th and 30th. with that you can maximize the the 21 days plus 30.

I agree with you. I have two credit cards, a mastercard and a visa. One is for work and one is for personal. One cuts off every 23 and the other every 5. With the exception of the cutoff dates, I think this is quite a combo.

Hello Sir PCG. I just want to ask two questions.

1.) Nagaassemble po ba ng PC ang PCGilmore in any branch? How long will it take?

2.) How much do you think I will need to assemble a high-end gaming PC with all top of the line parts installed?

I'm thinking kasi of building a high-end PC so that I could use it without upgrading for a long time. And also I'm preparing to play Diablo III with maximum graphics usage. Can you also show me possible sample specs of what the PC would look like?
