Another worrying concern for some teams sa MPBL are those players either entering this years PBA draft (and the years ahead) or being called up by PBA teams to play for them. Consolation na lang is another player must step up after a player is departing to play sa PBA.

AFAIK, noong pilot conference ng MPBL, yung promotion ng games is limited to the time slots where MPBL games are shown. This conference, they are promoting it to other sports programs (just like during commercial ng NCAA games). But yung production ng MPBL is not coming from S&A, but from a production company outside Abs-cbn (the producer buys airtime sa S&A; just like the setup ng producer ng Eat Bulaga buying airtime [before sa RPN and ABS-CBN] sa GMA network)

^ like tourist spots ng host city/municipality? Pwede din.. Pero due to time constraints hindi sya possible.

Or yung number of home games of a certain team?

Currently, yung setup ng MBPL ay 1 playdate consisting 2 games in one arena/stadium to save costs sa broadcast. Unlike noon sa MBA. 2 games per playdate, pero 2 separate arenas.

Baka hindi mangyari yung pagkakaroon ng isang import laden conference sa MPBL as they are more focused on local/homegrown talents. Ditto for the PBA D-League.

Hindi kaya 3 years ang MBA.. 4 years din (or 5 seasons).....

Sana magtagal ito beyond what's expected. (Kahit ang sabi ng iba ay political vehicle Ni pacman itong MPBL)

Yung PBA D-League nga andyan pa rin kahit 6 team lang ang kasali as of the moment.

Right now, I'm watching an old movie (Wooly Booly 2) featuring 5 players played in the PBA... Ampalayo, Cezar, Parks Sr. (+), Distrito, and

Curiously, Cezar now coaches a team in MPBL, and Parks Sr's son, Bobby Ray Jr. is a player of a team in the same league.

Kaya nga.. So that's around 15-20 players per team. Yung mga players na impossible na makalaro ng basketball sa ganitong level ay may chance na maglaro dito and even elevate sa PBA if they perform better sa MPBL.

MPBL is not competing with the PBA (PBA D-League siguro, but there are some players who are both playing in the MPBL and D-league) but I guess the PBA is somewhat threatened because of the current setup and the composition of teams and parity of the teams.

Minaliit niya yung competition... But IMO, this league is so much different from the ABL. Sabi pa nya na stepping stone niya ito to enter the PBA...

Tapos na ang 1st week. We've seen 16 teams out of the 26 teams. Mostly mga ex-pros ang top scorers sa games, but look out sa mga unheralded players.and fresh from college players.

If only they play earlier. Yung 2nd game ends late (pero mukhang wala namang reklamo ang manonood sa mga venues just to enjoy watching the game. Related to that, yung 7-11pm lang yung naibigay ng ABS-CBN S+A to telecast the games live

And regarding live TV coverage, AFAIK, weekends lang yung TV airtime nila, Wednesday is still exclusive via live stream. After eliminations, lahat ng matches ay live na siguro.

I've watched a volleyball game recently sa fil oil flying v center (Opening ng PVL, formerly Shakey's V-League) and it's kinda exciting and intense yung mga laro.

Unfortunately, yung games ng PVL ay via live stream, which kinda sucks. Unlike dun sa rival league na PSL, the games are shown live sa TV.

Which v-ball league is better (for you), PVL or PSL?

Any comments sa 1 Fil-for rule with maximum height of 6'4"? Discriminatory yung rule according to some players and ex-players.

Regarding sa schedule, 4 times a week na ang mga laroh Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.(be prepared for a long season)

Speaking of fun runs, yung recent Color Manila Run received a lot of negative comments from the runners, daming complaints.
