i agree na ang collection ay personal taste. kanya kanyang taste, lifestyle and budget. a seiko is very affordable and is a very good watch.

i would not buy a replica anymore. i used to have a fake rolex that i bought for about 1k. ayaw maniwala ng mga tao na fake. yung kaibigan kong puro rolex ang alam ayaw maniwala na fake hanggang sa binigay ko sa kanya para tignan. sa gaan pa lang alam mo na na fake. i just don't like the idea of wearing something na fake pag dating sa watches. wala lang. i don't look down on people who wear the replicas. wag lang yung mga mayayabang. sila rin ang mapapahiya. mas worst pa for me the snobs who wear the real thing but look down on others na mas mura ang suot. kanya kanya lang yan at di naman nanghihingi yung naka gschock sa yo. hahaha! my fake rolex? its with our driver. after more than 6 years, the watch is still keeping good time. automatic yun. lol.

whatever they say about the rolex, para sa akin it is still like the dollar. parang international currency. maraming mas mahal na watches pero ito ang hanap ng marami. i also think its because its more affordable sa mga expensive brands. its not a bad watch. its well made. they know how to build their brand and that is why it still is among the most aspirational of brands for many.

after saying all that, the rolex is not my favorite brand. hahaha! but if may libre, ok na ok!

i don't like dissing people in their choice in watches. personal taste na lang talaga. i really love watches and respect the opinions of others ( i only began my appreciation of the seikos and have learned a lot in the other thread), but some people deserve it. we reap what we sow.

one: i just read in another thread about the interesting exchange here. i really found it interesting and funny. lionel, i agree with your comments about his age when you saw his collection. but the classic rado was nice.

two: i haven't seen a rolex that i really wanted recently. napadaan ako sa mall recently and nakita ko yung parang retro na blue yung dial. maganda. oyster bracelet. tempting...

hey thanks. nagiipon pa. i feel that i have so many watches na that i made a promise not to buy another watch until i sell one off. sympre na violate ko na ito mga thrice since na sabi ko ito. hahaha. then nakita ko ang listahan mo. makes me think that i need to work harder to earn more so that i can buy more watches. pero (sana) malapit na ako sa punta na i can stop na and say, i don't need another watch. isa lang tama na.

ang hirap matanggal sa systema. lately, i have discovered the beauty of the seikos. dami rin maganda. i never really liked the omegas except for the speedmaster and the trainmaster. pati nga casio na gshock ang ganda rin.

di ako ma rolex. i only kept my favorite explorer 2 and the yatchmaster because it was a gift. my supposed 1st panerai di natuloy. sayang 140 lang yun ss bracelet pa. back during the time that rustans was the ad pa. for the cheapest panerais, i still believe you have to get it from the authorized distributor. i went to a panerai boutique at nakakaawa. 4 timepieces lang ang meron sila. mas marami pa dun sa mga specialty stores in singapore. pati california dial and ferrari meron sila sa sing.

wala ako reklamo sa kwarto at banyo. malakas ang tubig at may hot water. maayos ang staff at may libreng dyaryo.

even if makapal na kalyo mo, mapapansin mong ninipis ito when you wear gloves.
