feel free to bitch if some of them aren't metal enough!

  2. You can visit some of the local metal gigs at Ten02 Bar, Timog Ave, Quezon City. There was this really cool gig last Oct 18. Excellent local metal acts like Intolerant, Valley of Chrome and Sin (just to name a few) played at the gig.

There will some upcoming album releases from some local metal bands this month. Intolerant will release their debut album on Nov 15 at Atchie's Bar, El Pueblo, Ortigas. End of Man will also launch their full-length album on Nov 29 at Bay Park Central, Remedios st corner Roxas Blvd. If you want to support the local metal act scene, come and see these bands and buy their albums :)

yeah, right now i'm listening to intolerant and loss of control. also some prog bands like fuseboxx. i'll be going to the rock the riles gig, i think intolerant will be playing at buendia station with the other sonic boom bands. thanks. :)

  3. hi guys.

i've always listened to some metal bands. although right now i'm in the process of rediscovering the genre. i find that i prefer the melodic kind of metal with good, intelligible lyrics. sometimes crossing over to prog. do you have any recommendations?

also, what about local metal bands? where are they?

  4. simple lang naman yan. i haven't been in normal relationships, pero i'm pretty open. i can delineate sex from love. so sige, okay lang boys' night out... i'd be jealous but i'll let it go. of course beforehand me understanding na what you can do, i can do too. ;)

but if he falls in love with someone else and covers up for it, i won't condone it. i appreciate a guy's honesty, and i don't want anybody to hold back things like that even if they know it'll screw me up. i'd do the same thing din naman eh. don't keep me in suspense, out with it immediately. there is absolutely no need to cheat. it's cowardly, and it shows disrespect for me because he made me look ignorant. i should have been given the information and the choice to do what i want with what's left of the relationship. plus, if he doesn't want me anymore, i won't force him to do things my way.

i am posting this so when this actually happens for real, i'll be able to go back on this and tack it onto my head... baka ma-violate yung sinabi ko eh.

  5. she's death from neil gaiman's sandman, uh, graphic novels.

because putting a picture of me in black eyeliner and head-to-toe black might just creep you out. and people say i look sixteen y.o. presto, gothic lolita look. :D

however, next time someone invites me for coffee, i'll dress up just like that. para match sa avatar.

  6. Right now? Mainstay sa playlist... "Black" by Pearl Jam.

Sheets of empty canvas, untouched sheets of clay

Were laid spread out before me as her body once did.

All five horizons revolved around her soul

As the earth to the sun

Now the air I tasted and breathed has taken a turn

And all I taught her was everything

I know she gave me all that she wore

And now my bitter hands chafe beneath the clouds

    Of what was everything.

The pictures have all been washed in black, tattooed everything...

    I take a walk outside

I'm surrounded by some kids at play

I can feel their laughter, so why do I sear?

And twisted thoughts that spin round my head

    I'm spinning, oh, I'm spinning

How quick the sun can drop away

And now my bitter hands cradle broken glass

    Of what was everything?

All the pictures have all been washed in black, tattooed everything...

All the love gone bad turned my world to black

Tattooed all I see, all that I am, all I'll be...

I know someday you'll have a beautiful life,

I know you'll be a sun in somebody else's sky, but why

Why, why can't it be, why can't it be mine

  7. when i was a kid, i bought a peter andre cassette tape. i got some sense knocked into me, and recorded the songs over with songs played over NU107.

and i have that horrid bon jovi album with "it's my life" on it. promptly chucked into the bin of forgetfulness.

pop. anything pop-py that i listen to... i cower in shame... argh... saka my grandpa's celine dion albums.

pero i like the bee gees saka simon and garfunkel. hahaha.

  8. i have a pretty unique surname. saka yung combination ng first names ko i've never encountered anybody else with it. my cubiclemate googled my name last week. yung deans' list ng univ ko came up. embarrassing talaga.

saka yung mga posts ko sa mga open-for-all na tech forums, usually sa IBM or SQL forums. usually i put my real name there. they came up sa results.

  9. i think offline people have the impression that i'm sweet and innocent. it's the deceiving looks man. online there isn't any bias provided by my appearance, so i feel that i am judged based on what i say. in that respect, i'm more frank online, since offline you actually have to deal with people physically assaulting you when you say something quite interesting. online, well, the worst thing that could happen is a flamewar. haha.

online or offline, i'm pretty much a loner geek. :P

  10. medyo famous na 'tong mga 'to, but these are the ones i like:

infernal affairs, malena, equilibrium, city of god, memento, shaun of the dead, kung pow: enter the fist, donnie darko, the limey, run lola run, three, maria full of grace, the professional, lost in translation, howl's moving castle, spirited away, anchorman: the legend of ron burgundy, wasabi, ghost world, thirteen, hedwig and the angry inch... and so much more that i've missed.

and wala pang pinoy movies dyan. i vote for Carding Cobra, starring that guy in Mara Clara who became a Laguna politician...

there's this indonesian horror film they kept showing in PBO a few months ago, may part 1 and 2 pa. i never got the damn title. it wasn't that slick or even scary, but i enjoyed it as an anthropological exercise. kind of fascinating how we have similarities and differences when it comes to our mythical creatures, given the conditions of our cultures.

i haven't watched garandiru yet. or irreversible. or the secretary. aaaaaaargh huge DVD backlog.

and hey, you, if you're reading, when are we watching lust, caution? :)
