  1. It is located in the old Italian restaurant, Mi Piace, beside the Bar. Nice place and great interiors, very good band on Fridays

I wonder where in The Peninsula Manila will they be putting this. They do need to renovate their bar it's kinda being left behind from what the other hotel bars looklike nowadays.

  2. If you Japanese Food lovers have not tried, check out Sushi Kappo along Legaspi Street (at the ground floor of Jaka II Bldg.) The food and service was excellent, as all ingredients are flown in fresh from Japan including the sushi/sahimi. One of the few places who have available blue-fin tuna. The place is small: with only a sushi bar and 2 function rooms, advance reservation is preferred. We took one of the function rooms and we were served like emperors.

Be ready to spend though, like P4K per head and more. But my VIP-Japanese clients we're quite impressed.

One of the best that I have tried. Mahal lang

  3. Seryna is located in Little Tokyo across Mcdonald's in Makati Cinema Square

Tsumara Sushi is on the 2nd floor of 88 Corporate Center across the old IBM Plaza in Salcedo Village

Plus there is a new one called "Sushi Capo" G3 JAKA II Bldg. 150 Legaspi St. Fresh flown in seafood from Japan. A little pricey but excellent quality

haven't tried seryna and tsuemura yet..can anyone tell me where these places are located? thanks!
  4. I think this restaurant is Cav, located in Bonifacio High Street. This is managed by a Swiss Chef who used to manage Grassi's. Very nice cellar and ready to drink selections. In the vendo like tasting machine you can even have a taste of Chateau Margaux for P400. Good food as well to compliment the good selection of wines. I have recently tried their Oregon Pinot, not bad at all

Last week I saw a review of a restaurant/cellar that sells wines per volume. They have this equipment connected to various bottles and you can buy the wine per mL just for tasting (before you buy a bottle). I just cant remember the name of the place.
  5. thanks pare!

pareng masi, we got to try that place so that I  can finally comprehend that quote I posted :D

tokiojoe, if you want to explore naman Spanish wines try Barcino's at the Driving Range complex at Julia Vargas - excellent!

Thanks Bods, have been to this place and excellent choices as well. Sayang Spanish wines dito sa Philippines, under rated. Spanish wineries such as Mas Gil, Vinos Conrad and The Sadie Family are already at par with old world wineries.
