  1. Got a Ford Escape back in 2004...never again! Got me a lemon...good thing I got extended warranty up to 4 years or else the repair costs would have driven me to suicide...imagine coolant leaks after 6 months, aircon busted after 12 months, 2 alternator breakdowns in 3 years, etc, etc.

Oh and did I mention their after sales service...totally customer unfriendly...despite a plant in Laguna, parts would take 2 or 3 weeks to order if you are on warranty but 24 hours if you pay cash.

    NEVER AGAIN!

  2. Do you guys know nice fine dining restaurants in the Ortigas area where they have private rooms good for 5-6 persons? We hold our monthly dinner board meetings in restaurants in Makati. This time I'd like to try Ortigas area. Thanks in advance for any info.

You can also try Seven Corners. Their function rooms are more private and the restaurant is not as busy or crowded as the EDSA Shangrila.

  3. do they still give discounts to priority club card holders?

they still honor priority club members with the usual discounts (50% for a table of 2, etc.) at fab you get a 2 + 2 treat where you only pay for 2 if youre a group of 4 diners.

on some nights they even offer an 8th corner for a nominal fee added to your buffet price. also, when i went there about 2 weeks ago they have also added pan grilled skewer treats like prawns, squid, etc.

    try it out!

  4. kung isa lang ang property, hindi nga malaki. as a matter of fact wala silang babayaran provided nadeclare kaagad. PERO, ang sabi sa statement nya ay PROPERTIES at PROPERTIES VALUE RANGE FROM...., so i assume marami ang properties plus the fact ng haba ng panahon na hindi na-i-file, kaya nasabi ko na malaki ang problema.

if you think otherwise ....................................................

You are correct. There are 3 properties involved.

This is very, very helpful. Can your company help the family or can you refer an expert in this area? How much will it cost?rge? Please PM me. Thanks.

Using the same example of 6M, donors tax will be P524,000.00 na maari pang bumaba depende sa mga deductions.

very informative posts...i have a question, what if the family discovers that their late father had properties after 13 years? they have paid the municipal real estate taxes but are unsure how to proceed in transferring the ownership of the properties given the huge tax implications. what are the family's options to lessen the tax burden? the properties value range from Php 100 to 500k.

    thanks for your advise.

  7. Sorry for the typo that should be CIBI or CIBI Information Inc., a credit investigation company.

No worries Dr. Pepper...btw, similar to the query of the other poster. Are there people you can hire to do the leg work and fix your credit standing by interfacing with all the necessary agencies and companies? It seems to be a daunting task to get all these certifications and then talk to all these credit "people" before a certification can be issued or my bad record will be erased or updated.

  8. That's true, but I noticed that the CBCI maintains records that are up to 20 years old. If you feel you that you are still a good credit risk, you can always ask for an exception. Banks are starved for loans right now, and the consumer loans market is really a borrower's market.

Sorry for asking but what is the CBCI? Can people with bad credit histories go to this agency or association to rectify credit records?

    Thanks.
