  1. Random Makati places I've been to:

Howzat, near Rockwell, cozy English pub. Variety of beer in the selection. Yummy appetizers. Service sucks. As in literal na pinaalis kami ng waitress kasi bad trip sya at wala raw silang OT pay, at demonyo raw amo nya. Sayang, they serve below-zero beer pa naman here. Kainis lang the attitude. They also have a well-stocked mini grocery.

TJ Grill, near Pasong Tamo, non-aircon no-frills place that closes up late, around 2 am. The basic food are ok naman, tokwa't baboy, sisig, cheese sticks. Serves good cold beer and Gilbey's premium, unless those that serves stale ones.

Overdrive, Zobel Roxas, you may not find it agad because it's literally inside a talyer. Food is ok naman, drinks by the carafe are served. Hmm, it's one of those places that you'll enjoy once but won't go back to again but not because it's bad. Some places are just more convenient to go to.

Sango, Mile Long compound. Some people love burger to bits. It's ok lang for me. And the ventilation sucks, amoy mantika ka na after. I had to take a bath afterwards. You can have it to go, instead.

Chocolate Fire, overrated items, but cute place. :P

Chocolatier, Jupiter, makes more sense than Choco Fire. They serve fried chocolate in BBQ sticks. Literaly dark and white choco chunks dipped in batter then fried and skewered. My friends loved it, but nah. The ice cream are good daw, though. I had a taste, ok naman. Although I'm not ice-cream person.

Whistlestop, Jupiter. 24-hours with good food and beer. We usually order nachos, those cheese pockets, and the wings.

Ziggurat, Makati Avenue, Indian-Mediterranean cuisine. Overpriced. But I like the Honey Beer, chicken tikka, samosas. Along red-light district. :P

Filling Station, along red-light district, too, Makati Ave. Diner where waitresses do a song-and-dance number every so and so minutes. The best choco milkshake. The porkchops, sisig rice, eggs benedict are ok, too. Don't order iced tea lang. It's from powder, and not deserving of the price. Food is hmm, quite pricey. And oh, there's a motel on the upper floors.

101 Hawker, near Makati Med. Affordable meals. Am yet to taste the laksa, though.

Friends and Neighbors, I totally forgot where this is, but it's sanitary lutong-bahay food.

Suzu-kin, the original Japanese eatery with franchises around the Metro already. For tempura quick fix. Don't expect Japanese rice here, though.

Soms, Rockwell. The closest I got to authentic Thai food.

Dak's, Primo Rivera, Thai food that sucks.

Kansi, near Kamagong. Bulalo place but I felt bad after eating here. I was expecting pipin-hot soup but the one served to us was masebo. Ang hirap kainin ng utak na masebo. :( The rice din, hindi mainit. Room temperature lang. Didn't go back there again.

madam san po exacto yung 101 hawker?? is it similar to those hawker centers in spore?? salamat po!

  2. i like Max's because the chicken is cooked to the bone

that the meat falls off at the slightest tug.

haven't eaten in Aristocrat for the longest time.

our dad used to bring us to the main branch @ Roxas Blvd.

my fave was chicken bbq and their trademark java rice.

tell you what: i'll visit Aristocrat soonest

and give my FR here. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_3Lud_9_uocs/TMewRwt9GCI/AAAAAAAACHM/HFR0v85dtzo/narutoClaping.gif
