i know how it feels to be broken. there are moments when i think that the best thing to do is to leave everything behind. but i want to be there when everything's ok already. i don't want to miss that moment. i know it will come. so hang on...

i don't consider myself a 70's baby (and this is not denial!!! haha), but the things remarkable about the 70's were the music, the fashion, the experimental films (which we get to see, thanks to cinemalibre!) and the progressive ideas. although the martial law experience is not something we'd like to happen again, it gave the filipino people a clear raison d'etre at that time. it helped shape the 70's filipinos' sense of nationalism. hmmm... makes me wonder about the sense of nationalism of the current generation

Being a common or public pool (which is usually the case), I hate it when:

 

While swimming laps or working out, others annoyingly jump into the pool along your path

Others horseplay and push each other into the pool while others are using it unmindful of possibly hitting others

Boisterous laughter

Crossing your lane at the wrong time (causing you to miss your stroke or swallow water)

Urinate in the pool (other seven announce it---time out, weewee lang ako)

All those you mentioned hexogen... especially the ones who cross your lane. They sometimes make you lose your rhythm and your momentum! :grr:

i love thai food. muang thai is good. i love crispy catfish. back in college, we used to go to a thai carinderia in IC in UPD. The best ang tom yum lalo na pag umuulan! Haha. I don't think Mommy Thai is still there.
