  1. that stock has been in the downtrend since July 13,1999 (my data is only from Feb 4, 1999). I'm willing to bet that before that the stock has been in a downtrend... and it will continue to go down ... well until the trend changes... but there are no indication of that happening soon...

if magaling ka mag trade ng range, yan lang ang magagawa mo for this stock for now... so i recommend you sell your position and trade the range...

now might be a good time to buy and trade the range... but then bakit dyan ka didikit at hindi nalang sa tumataas na stocks?

what's the range of MPC ba?

  2. Lab test po.

okay. sayang. my gf had UTI last year. I wanted to be sure sana if she's fooling around. I should have asked for a lab test to pinpoint if gonoccocal or non-gonoccocal. She was just given a prescription of Cibrobay for a week. It was inconclusive if it was STD or just UTI. :(

  3. Gonorrhea incubates from next day to 3 days after the contact, non-gonoccocal urethritis can show symptoms after 2 weeks.

yellow discharge is simply puss (nana), infection on the urethra that may cause burning sensations, itchiness and evern pain when urinating. Women tend to develop PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease), masakit ang puson nila in this case ....

Rule here is dont be stupid, and do not gamble ..... Kung si Kris Aquino meron, anyone can have one .....  Sa mga patients na na encounter kahit obvious na na tinamaan ayaw pa rin umamin na nagkacontact sila, anyway sino niloloko nila, of course sarili nila .....

As time goes, these bacteria also develop resistance to known medicines , meaning di na rin tumatalab ......

How can you differentiate a non-gonoccocal case vs. a gonoccocal case?

    thanks.

  4. judging from the different point of views from different personalities here in the board... i may say that in conclusion, loving an mpa is possible for some people and a hell no for several of the male gender out there.

people are so different in many ways in accepting things, so there is no definite answer to the topic, i guess when you are into this kind of situation, you have to ask yourself, which of the kind of person do i belong?

    1. from people who are brave enough to accept and face all the odds in loving an mpa despite the humiliation, pain, jealosy, doubt name it all...

    2. or from people who doesn't want to torture himself with all the facts and risk of loving an mpa.

maybe, with these questions, you will now the know, if you would love or not an mpa.

    just a thought...

Boss Tsinito's posting sums it all up!

    1. from people who are brave enough to accept and face all the odds in loving an mpa despite the humiliation, pain, jealosy, doubt name it all... --> example nito: friends who already screwed the girl, friends who went nasty with the girl and who would tell you in detail what happened, parents/family who would obviously give the thumbs down on this idea, going to a mall and accidentally bumping into a regular customer,etc.. ang dami.. hehe

kung matino kayong tao.. siguro wake-up before its too late. iwasan nyo kung kaya nyo. yan lang.

  5. Yes, you can go to the Philam office in L.P. Leviste St. or if you want I can help you. My office is at 5F Salustiana T. Dy Tower in Paseo(corner Perea). You will have to fill out redemption form and it takes T+3 days for settlement. Check issued under your name and you can encash it at Philam Savings Bank. If you want my assistance, send me a PM. If not, it is  :) still the same process.

    Thanks pare...

  6. To comply with the International Finance Reporting Standards(IFRS, formerly known as International Accounting Standards), all mutual funds with fixed-income portfolio must value  or price the funds AT THE MARKET/CURRENT MARKET PRICE/"MARKED-TO-MARKET".

IFRS conversion is a global trend intended to bring about

    1) higher degree of transparency

    2) comparability in financial reporting(uniformity to global standards)

Marked-to-market valuation asseses assets on the current market price or closing market rate for that instrument. Basically, an asset is determined by the market price plus accrued interest. Any profit or loss is "booked" and the funds will start the next day with a net position This type of valuation takes into account the MOVEMENT OF INTEREST RATES IN THE MARKET. The INTEREST RATES CHANGES over time BUT the COUPON RATE(for ex. a P10,000 bond issued at 10% per annum coupon rate, 5 years maturity--->it pays a fixed 10% or P1k annually) remains FIXED after the bond is issued.

What is the effect of this? The key price or net position of a fixed income instrument(inside the portfolio of a mutual fund) is the relation of its COUPON vs. CURRENT MARKET OR INTEREST RATES. Meaning, when the going rate is LESS than the coupon rate, the bond's price will INCREASE above its par value. Consequently, when the going rate is MORE than the coupon rate, the bond's price will DECREASE below its par value.  THESE CHANGES HAPPEN EVERYDAY and the process of pricing them daily is simply called "MARKED-TO-MARKET".

How does this affect the Philam mutual funds?

The Strategic Growth Fund, Balanced or Philam Fund are already currently marked-to-market because these two have equities and we all know that equities are valued at the market close. On the other hand, the Peso and Dollar Bond Fund are in preparation to be valued at the market. The tentative deadline given by SEC to all financial institutions is on Sept. 2006.

Pare, I have an investment with Philam Dollar Bond fund. I want to encash it. Should I go to the Philam main office? I got this from a broker before.. so I'm not sure how to encash it. It's been with me for 2 years.. good returns. :)
