i don't think it's already available in manila, officially. you can try looking at greenhills as many there have connections that enable them to acquire such devices early. you can also look for those underground sites if they already have those available.

perhaps i didn't understand the question, but, isn't iphone, out of the box, can already send text to multiple recipients?

I think the i pad is IT.

 

All it has to do now is be able to do word processing, worksheets and the like.

 

Apple says with iworks, it will get the job done.

 

I am a newbie. Is Iworks compatible (as in interchangable files) with Office?

 

How is iworks (specifically for the i pad) compared to Office?

software support is one thing. hardware is another. i don't think, with the current state of iPad (i.e., no separate keyboard), that it can be used to compose a reasonably long documents. as a touch-typist, i need real feedbacks when i'm typing. the on-screen keyboard of iPad doesn't have this feel.

i agree with most poster here. ubuntu is definitely one of the best (if not the best). with the release of 10.04, it got even better!
