  1. After backreading your comments, it's obvious the problem lies with the typical Filipino work attitude.

I noticed Filipinos rarely seem concerned with customers or clients, be it bank teller, cashiers, sales ladies or sales agents. Go into any bank or store and the first thing you'll notice are the sales ladies making chitchat and they never seem to acknowledge the customers presense, parang invisible yun customer. The cashiers in U**mart and R**tans are even gossiping and joking around with the bag boys RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS,nagkukurutan pa, kelangan sigawan mo para bilisan ang trabaho eh. Thay don't care if mahaba na ang pila, tuloy ang satsatan.

I always experience this kind of attitude in BPI.

or get the attention of their manager... to correct them... i did this to a number of establishment... your the customer and always right... just don't abuse your right...

  2. I remember when we requested a demo three years ago and only the provider in the vicinity we have no choice but to avail their service. So requested a demo that runs for 7 days... something good came up for us they never follow up or call/bother us how was their service if we are convince. To cut short we have a free internet access for a year or so... We just stop using it because of a poor internet access... hehehe

  3. If you have a poor DSL connection this may check the status in DSLAM were the client is terminated. A good tech will know this the health of the port interface if there are errors encountered and they can see this in the logs also. A loose cable termination, degraded fuse/s in the terminal block, no proper grounding in eqpt involve, poor maintenance of the cabinet, open PL prone to interference these are some factors may affect your connectivity... HTH

  4. Can you cheat the RapidShare download limit with Smart Bro? Been trying the ipconfig (release, flushdns, renew) trick, but my IP is still the same ..

you cannot change your IP since it is obtain automatically... unless you request a public ip address with smart (this will take sometime and cost you)... you obtain your IP address thru smart DHCP server and you notice its a private IP address (not routable in the internet)... NAT (network address translation) will do the job when you do surfing, downloading, etc... your private IP address will be translated to public IP which you will find out what will be your public ip address by checking in this site www.whatismyipaddress.com... also your speed (bandwidth) will depend in your package subscription how fast your download, how many user shared in international bandwidth for this type of access... advantage if you have a committed information rate with your provider that you alone can use that bandwidth and nobody else (again this is costly)... trying accessing off peak and may help a lot...

  5. 1st time here in this thread.... i been using smart about a year plus so far the speed is average, the tech support is below average (not so techie).... experience a numbered downtime and i got a billing adjustment (i forwarded my downtime logs to them and most importantly keep them inform about your downtime so you have an adjustment...)
