    I love to hang out at Mogwai Cinematheque (located inside Cubao Expo). You can chill out at their bar alone without looking pathetic. If it's your first time there, you'll have plenty of stuff to look at since it's worn out look is quite intriguing. The art pieces is also a conversation starter in case you find yourself in the posistion of stumbling upon another friendly stranger.

     

    If I'm not mistaken, they have Wifi there so you can bring your stuff and work while drinking a cold beer.

     

    I often go there to unwind, I'm on a first name basis with the staff there. PM me if you want to share a beer and a conversation :)

     

    I did see the prices of the beer, how about food?

    are they good for sharing or just one?

    how about operating hours? sorry for asking...

     

    in cubao/araneta area, last call for ordering alcohol is 1am.

    except for oyster boy which is open 24/7

    New local hotel called the "M" opened this year.

     

    just 15mins south of the strip along the I-15 freeway to LA

     

    Buffet was good!

     

    Play a little black jack (100) ask the pit boss for comps and you shall receive vouchers for two.

     

    pool deck was nice, as well as their new concept of having a soda bar in the middle of the casino.

     

    oh yaeh the servers have huge boinkers, i think they selected them that way

    I bought a dlink DIR300 sa inyo last nov. 2..sabi daw kac ok sya..yun ang recommend nyo sakin. but now it hangs everytime i do torrent downloading. i searched in the internet n it really sucks. dapat daw bago firmware..meron n sya sa singapore website 1.02..im hesitant n magupgrade ng firmware kac baka magkamali ako and sira n yung router ko..i want to exchange it for a linksys wrt54 n lng or if you can help me upgrade it mas ok po..please advise.

    i'm not in anyway connected with PCG,

     

    But the DIR300 is way better than Wrt54g, just update the firmware and torrent downloading will work fine,

    i used to have a linksys router and it keeps hanging as well everytime i download from torrents. problem with linksys is that they don't roll out firmware that often, thus making the old router useless.

    I'm not sure if the software they reloaded on my phone is available online. You might be talking about the firmware update. Basta nung dinala ko sa Sony Ericsson yung phone ko, sabi software update lang. I guess they have to reinstall the original software to get my Games & Applications running again. Updating the firmware didn't solve my problem then. :rolleyes:

     

    By the way, I've just updated my firmware. It's R1KG001 now. The video preview in thumbnails is no longer available but menu icons are still flashing. Response time is definitely faster :thumbsupsmiley:

     

    I just updated my phone it says

    R1JG001

    070214

     

    But your's is already R1KG001? what am i missing here?

    do i need to run an update again?

    Question about the phone:

     

    On updating firmware:

    Will my contacts/phone contents will be deleted.

    Or it's better to back-up first before doing an update just to be safe than sorry

     

    on external mem card:

    will it slow down if i use a bigger memcard

    (longer time for accessing files on card)

     

     

     

    Insights will be greatly be appreciated

    I always past Sucat everday in my scooter. Just the other day pagka lampas na lampas ko ng Starfleet eh nawalan ako ng gasolina! Pak sh*t! talaga! Since yung Caltex na dinaanan ko lang yung pinaka malapit eh doon ako pumunta. Pag dating ko doon eh nag pahanap ako ng bote ng Coke na 1.5l para pag lagyan ng gosolina, eh wala raw so i went to the guard of one of those establishment sa baba ng AF1 and naka kita sya ng bote. So ayun bumalik ako sa Caltex and only to find out na di pwqede raw sa kanila ang mag lagay sa mga ganung bote! Ang gusto nila eh bilhin ko yung lalagyan nila na worth 250php! Eh ginagawa naman to sa ibang gasoline stations sila lang yung ganun! ang layo ng nilakad ko sumakay pa ko ng jeep para bumili sa unioil! Ang laking abala nila at wala silang pakisama! Bulok na nga yung Caltex nila and mas mahal ng 1 peso per liter compare sa Caltex sa domestic ganyan pa policies nila! Dapat sa kanila eh i-boycott!

     

     

    sir, ganyan talaga ang mga policy ng mga gas station. hindi lang sa caltex nang yayari yan pati sa shell and top players naten sa gas industry.

    - pag naka motor di pwede kargahan ng gasolina habang naka sampa ka.

    - sa mga kotse naman dapat patay ang makina.

     

    nag implement na sila ngayon ng safety ek ek kung hindi susunduin yun ma fifine kasi sila. pero buti sa uni-oil ni bentahan ka.

    1. First, boot from a floppy.

    2. Delete the entire Windows directory. There used to be an old utility that allows you to delete directories that aren't empty while in DOS prompt. It's called deltree.exe, look for one first in the internet or in some Win 98 PCs.

    3. Delete the entire Program Files directory.

    4. Reboot and install WinXP. Just point your new My Documents to your old folder.

    5. Reinstall your drivers and other programs. Then everything should be like new.

     

     

    Sir by any chance do you have a boot-up disk for a floppy drive?

    or can you point me to the right direction where to get a boot-up disk that will also enable my cd-rom drive upon boot-up

    question: how do you reformat the hard drive and make a very clean install? i'm running windows xp service pack 2. i tried to reformat and make a clean install pero mukhang pumalpak at nag back up yung old files, thus eating up memory space. ang gusto ko, yung parang brand new ang kakalabasan pagkatapos mag reinstall at mag re format.

    Boot using the WinXP cd, delete all the partitions and just create a new one. (warning: when you delete your partition every single file will be erased)

    sir, just a quick q. what type of calls are usually being handled? are they customer support for technical? billing? or just plain inquiry issues?

     

    why a sudden surge of calls? problem with the products or services that you are offering?

     

    i would like to help you out on this one, as me and the family business has built and handled an MT center with 50 seats operating with 2-3 shifts depending on the volume.
