  1. haha

a smart movie-goer would've already noticed that 10000 BC is not a movie worth watching on the big screen just by watching its craptacular trailers.

i never actually saw its trailer. i just watched it on impulse coz i need to k*ll some time before my appointment.

i guess it served the purpose well. it really killed my time along with my money!

  2. there are baccarat tables in CF pque with insurance. ayoko matutunan kasi baka masira laro ko eh. do they have the same table sa ibang CF?

insurance bets? are you referring to those bets like the jackpot bets where you will win if both banker and player gets 9 with the same suit etc, etc?

heritage and pavillon have these bonus bets

  3. thanks for the info guys! was there last monday, bowed out early from the tournament, had 2 rebuys, pero sobra malas... so i tried the 10-20 cash game, unfortunately, malas pa rin :) ... anyway, i had a good time, and will definitely be back for revenge! hehe...

btw, anyone can confirm if there are poker cash games or tournaments in HYATT casino? mas malapit kasi ito samin e, tnx!

They had a poker tournament last March 7 at Hyatt Casino, though its a special event only, the Gaming Manager i was able to talk with hopes it would become a regular game soon

  4. for many ... the home is the ideal starting point for any business. and many entreprenuers and professionals have done just that.

think of the many advantages : aside from the sizeable savings in terms of rent ... the time savings in terms of the commute alone is pretty significant indeed.

but the hardest thing to manage ( as mentioned earlier ) is making your home-office WORK.

aside from the dedicated space ( most preferably an enclosed air con room ) ... you should have a separate facilities (among the basics are a separate pc , phone , and fax ) distinct from the ones you use for your home. not only are these more convenient but they allow you to separate the office bills from the household bills. for electric bils ( before i had a separate meter installed ) i computed for and used a fixed percentage to determine how much of the bill the "office" had to pay.

another thing is to discipline yourself to follow standard office hours ( being in the service industry ... i keep the same office hours as my clients).

and when you step inside your "office" ... make sure to bring that pang office attitude with you too. on my end , i start off by wearing jeans and sneakers and a collared shirt ALWAYS ... not pambahay and tsinelas.

second ... I manage my time carefully with a list of things to do and clients to call. it's so easy to lose focus when you're a company of 1 and you've got time aplenty on your hand.

third ... your family will have to help you in making your home-office work. as mentioned earlier ... my wife and kids respect my office hours . in turn i also do my share and respect my home hours. if my office hours are from 9-6 ... outside of those ... i'm fair game for my family. but this is not to say that my door is locked and entrance is verboten. they are just considerate enough to know that for me to work and bring in business they would have to keep interruptions to a minimum.

fourth ... thank you duke for calling my attention. i have indeed been working at home for the past ten years. i have been most fortunate in business. after three years in our old house ... i have moved to another home where i have been holding office for the past seven years. mea culpa for the oversight.

with that said ... i am eagerly awaiting you at the other thread along with the rest of the other men who have long missed your presence.

thanks fellatio for the great information. actually this kind of advise is what im expecting from those who have succesfully managed to work from home, something for others to emulate.

  5. well first of all i answered the question being asked by the thread then made a suggestion.

before i give credit to the suggestion of fellatio about working at home, paki clarify naman ito :

para hindi OT ... i have happily and successfully worked inside my house for the past 10 years.

    and

i've done it successfully for over seven years. as have many budding entreprenuers and professionals.

baka bukas 15 years na? linawin mo parang kwentong barbero lang eh. ill leave it up to here. see you in the other thread.

anyways, i would not advise anyone to work at home especially if you are just starting out. focus is one of the most important aspect to make your business successful or excel in your profession. while the wife and the kids bring you inspiration, you cant help by being distracted once in a while which will accumulate in the long run.

  6. dukey ... dukey ... dukey ...

first of all is ... how big is your house ? not to demean you in anyway but if you're staying in a 40 sqm flat with a wife and two kids you're asking for the impossible.

the basic minimum is a small room that you can exclusively use and call your own. make sure that this is clear to your wife and kids. then set it up like an office with a desk , chair , bookcase , filing cabinet etc. you should also have all you need ( phone line , pc , fax etc ) should be in easy reach.

but the most important ( and hardest thing to do ) is getting your wife and kids to

    1) respect the workspace and to give it a wide berth

    2) respect the workhours you set so that they will refrain from bothering you.

i've done it successfully for over seven years. as have many budding entreprenuers and professionals.

now ... that's not as long as a book is it ? :P

    fellatio...fellatio...fellatio...

if you were the same guy who wrote this over my " Do you feel guilty or less of yourselves for having an ES" thread

    please click on the link:

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sanctimonious

    nice pun though ... HARD-ened criminals ... dude that's us ! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

better to be accused of assault with a deadly weapon than to be accused of assault with a dead weapon.

let's see what other crimes i'm guilty of ...breaking and entering ! w00t.gif unauthorized entry ! w00t.gif

please duke ... take me ... arrest me ... send me to jail !

then i guess i know why you can work so easily inside your house without having the trouble of being bothered by your kids or wife. maybe your kids dont come knocking at your door and tell you " papa kalong mo naman ako laro tayo horsie-horsie" or maybe they tell you that but you just tell them to go away? or if you hear your baby cry, i cant just resist the temptation of going out of my office and see whats wrong with my baby. well i guess you live in a mansion with a 100sqm. or more 'office' space for you to hear your baby crying.

the book im referring to applies only to real family-oriented guys who cares more for his family than for his personal needs.

if you can pay for an ES instead of giving it to your kids ( while working hard for that money you earn inside your house with your wife and kids) then the title of your book will be " How to Work at Home for the Guilt-less Dads"

  7. sanayan lang iyan dude. :) i actually work longer and am more productive if i work at home. of course when you have to attend meetings and sign documents, you have to be physically present, but otherwise you don't have to be in the office. lalo na ngayong common na ang dsl.

i guess binata ka pa. but if you have a family with kids running around the house but can keep yourself productive for the longest hours, make a book to tell us how you do it. it will be a guranteed best seller.

  8. iyong output-oriented, enabling you to work at home. even if you work more than ten hours a day, di ka stressed dahil di ka na nagda-drive or nagko-commute.

people tend to be less productive when working at home especially if you are married and if you have kids. napakaraming distractions. i guarantee you guys na if you have set your working time at home for example from 8am to 5pm, you will be very lucky if you can work effectively for 5 hours accumulative.

to answer the question, ako my current work schedule is 4:30pm - 8:30pm only. this suits me most because wala traffic kaya lang medyo late na rin makauwi ng bahay so siguro ill make it 11am-3pm work skeds na lang.

  9. This is something new in MTC - CASINO EB

May mga Community Events sa Basement ng PAGCOR sa Parañaque

...malapit dun sa mga slots .... may band, food etc... FREE this Xmas season

May mga kinukuha din sila sponsors like Ford, SMB, Peugot, BMW etc ....

if we will have a casino EB, i would suggest we play na lang Pai-gow, slow game pero may thrill sa pagpipinta ng baraha and makakapag kwentuhan pa tayo habang binabalasa and deal ang cards which takes more than two minutes

  10. thanks duke

paexplain nlang pas nsa casino tyo para mas realistic. how much is the min/max bet sa craps?

by the way mga bro any1 of you interested later, ill be going to sanjuan coliseum, may derby around 4pm ang start pero mga 7pm ako makakadating. p600 entrance, may kasama na ako na magkikristo saatin. just let me know

sa ibang casino like Hyatt and Heritage 100 lang ang minimum, pero sa pavillon and silahis 200 for the DP and Passline bets.

pass na ako sa debry bro...medyo laki ako sa sabunging manok sa bahay because my grandpa and dad kaya medyo nakasawaan ko yan...anyways goodluck.

  11. @ duke

pls explain pano laruin craps para sa actual game play may idea na ako. thanks!

ok sge ganito yun. basic lang muna para hindi ka malito. i wont be detailing on the 'sucker' bets kasi even i dont play those bets.

to start the game, you have to place a bet on either the Dont Pass or Passline.

What is the difference? If you bet on the Passline, after a point have been set ( i will discuss the meaning of this point later), you will next try to throw the dice as many as you can without hitting the number 7, because if you do, you lose. and this is the opposite of the Dont Pass bet, because if you hit a point, make sure that you hit the number 7 before you hit the point again.

How do you win on a come-out roll? ( come-out means the first roll of your dice)

when you bet on the Passline, you win if you roll either a 7 or 11 and you lose if you hit the 2,3, and 12. But if you bet on the DP (Dont pass), you win on the 2 and 3, but push on the 12.

Ok so assuming, you bet on the Passline, you rolled the dice and you hit the number 4. this number 4 is your point number (other numbers that can be a point, or box numbers, are 4,5,6,8,9,10) . You must hit this number 4 again to win your passline bet before hitting or rolling number 7 otherwise you lose. But of course you can place bets on the other box numbers (5,6,8,9,10) and you can win (depends on the odds of each respective numbers) as you hit each number in every roll of your dice. so for example your first roll is 4, then, 5, then 6, then 8, then 9, then 10...you win in each of the rolls you make if you have bets on it, but if you hit the 7, kabig lahat ng dealer ang taya mo, but if you hit the number 4 again, you win your passline bet and you will restart the process again.

So if you bet on the Dont Pass, make sure that after you hit a point number, iwasan mo sya and try to hit the 7 to win your Dont pass bet. But of course na like the Passline bet, you can bet on the other box numbers (except the point number of course) and win as much as you can if you roll those numbers, but you will lose it once the 7 is rolled.

even if you are not the shooter, you can always bet the same way as above.

  12. @Mr.Kim - Talo din ako boxing! pustahan sa bookies ko pag umabot ng decision panalo na si morales, buti panalo ako sa derby sa sanjuan

@Duke - can you teach me pano laruin craps

@aldrich - bro ako di ko mapigilan, lagi akong hinahatak, nagpapahatak naman ako hehe

@fellow gambler - tara set natin EB sa Pavillon, kahit office hours ayos lang sakin

    @popoy

sure bro no problem. here sa board or actual game play?

  13. Hehehe

May nagagalit basta kontra ka sa Frontliners

Playing the back line (No Pass) has slight odds (.0X % daw)

On the the first roll kasi Kalaban mo 7 but after it passes Kampi mo na at pwede pa mag Full Odds

craps really is one of the best casino games to play. gusto ko ngang gawing career eh :thumbsupsmiley:

pangit lang sa casino dito sa pinas, ang odds sa Pass and DP eh 1:1 lang sa vegas yata may x100 pa yata kaya almost 0% ang house edge

  14. Frontliner? Backliner?

if you refer to how i play with craps, im always a dark side player (betting on the DP). problem is i can only play on an empty table since alam mo na, ang mga pinoy almost always Pass players and ayaw ng may kontra sa mesa. its a long but steady win since i dont normally bet on the box numbers unless feel ko swerte ako.

  15. it is clean money per se, but sakin lang i believe in feng shui and anything that is not of hard work, i consider it dirty money, i dont want it mixing wit my clean money because am also superstitious hehe

for fun lang talaga ako sa casino, sum pay for movie tickets para sa cinema, sum pay for entance ti cket para sa ecxitment of an amusement park, i pay for the trhill n for better understanding of probability n statistics thats why i go to casino, if i lose para syang casino ticket, if i win i spend it for clothes etc.

well kanya kanya lang talaga yan.

ako i believe na casino winnings are the 'purest' money you could ever have.

some employees are paid for 8 hours a day but works for only 7 hours = dirty money

some businessman dont pay their employees according to what the law says + hokus pokus with tax payments = dirty money

    sa casino, its all you.

  16. Discipline is really the key, kase ako nakamind set na pag dating sa casino ganitong amount lang ipapatalo ko pero pag naginit tuloy tuloy na eh, minsan iisipin mo ang layo ng byahe tapos 2k lang iuuwi mo. pero maganda strategy yun, 2k a day, 60k a month not bad for a body guard earning that much :)

a game with a low house edge + knowledge of the game + bet selection + money management + discipline = consistent winnings better than other day jobs/business

  17. ano mechanics ng pagcor sports betting tell us paano sumali

it would be better if you could just visit their website (xchangebet.com). they have a chat support system where a customer service would answer your inquiries.

pero to basically answer your question, its like a typical sports betting system. you bet For or Against the current Odds on a certain sports or event. the downside lang nga is the site is new and japan/philippines pa lang ang countries na kasali kaya if you have created your own odd on a game and nobody bet against you, balewala ang bet mo.

siguro for trial purposes, just choose a current game with a defined odd already and bet For or Against it para sure na tuloy ang bet. Minimum bet is 100php and maximum bet per transaction is 10k with maximum limit of betting 500k in a day.

if you know the sports well and medyo maganda ang odds, sports betting can be a regular money maker with very minimal risk plus of course you 'enjoy' more routing for the team you have a bet on.
