  1. sir,

tanong ko lang. nag-apply kami ng mga kaibigan ko ng partnership. approved na to last year, bandang november yata o a bot earlier, as a partnership. sa SEC ito. dun sa bnigay sa akin ng certificate, parang naibigay na nila yata yung TIN. not sure, i dont have it with me ngayon kasi, pero i think it's a TIN. now, sabi sa DTI online, yung business registration something, effective a certain date last year, hindi na kelangan ng DTI registration pag partnership or corporation, so basically, ok na dapat kami. ala pa kaming mayor's o brgy's permit, b the way. ang problema is, we were not able to start conductiong business. one partner went abroad, the other continued her study, and ako na lang naiwan.

ang question ko ay should i file anything to SEC o BIR para i-dissolve ang partnership?

or kung hindi naman kelanagang idissolve ang partnership, should i file anything to any govt agency para sabihing hindi natuloy ang business namin?

    salamat po.

  2. xwhiteshadowz,

thank you very much sa assessment mo. my mom is indeed old na, turning 60 y/o this year. may napapansin akong progression sa pain niya. minsan e nagigising siya sa gabi for an hour because of back pains pero di naman consistent yung pain... at minsan, nasa mid-back niya, minsan naman e nasa lower back papuntang legs nuya. pero after a while nawawala. di nga niya alam kung may knalaman sa pagkahulog niya yun kasi dati e nararamdaman niya naman yun. with regard to the bowel movements at pag-urinate, wala namang problema.

i am trying to look for an ortho na medyo affordable ang services/PF, and as soon as makakita, consult kami siguro.

    male_spud,

maraming salamat din sa opinion po. pero bago lahat, although di mo natatanong, di naman po ako nagtitipid dito and nakukuha ko yung ibang gadgets na nabanggit mo. :-) i really am having problems sa finances namin ngayon because i am jobless for quite some time now, and my only source of income is some freelance stuff/gigs i am working on.. just enough to cover our day-to-day needs. i am trying my best to get a regular job na po. there.

my mom is not overweight, but she is already a bit old, 59 y/o. i consulted a PT friend of mine and she suggested a few stretching exercises. i hope mag-improve na nararamdaman niya.

salamat po sa mga tulong. and more opinion/suggestion/recomm will be appreciated po.

  3. self-treatment sana ang hinahanap ko sa ngayon, because alam naman po natin na ang hirap ng buhay ngayon, and bagamat ayaw kong tipirin ang ganitong mga bagay, mahirap talaga given my current financial condition.

  4. mga boss,

tanong sana ako... my mom fell sa hagdan namin, and wala namang immediate na pain na naramdaman, except dun sa mismong pagbagsak niya. medyo nagkapasa sa likod, pero after a week, medyo may pagkakataon na she's experiencing lower back pains. di naman consistent yung pain, pero nung nagpa-x-ray kami, the impression suggested:

minimal hypertropic spurs are seen along the endplates of L3, L4 and L5

there is minimal posterior displacement of the L5 over S1

no apparent break seen in the articulating processes

    joint spaces are intact

two small noducalcific densities are seen in the right upper quadrant

    impression:

grade 1 retrolisthesis, l5-s1 wilth mild osteodegenerative changes

nodular calcific densities, right upper quadrant, consider gallstones

nagpa-ultrasound na kami, and results show gallstones nga daw, sabi ng radiologist. may self-treatment po ba dito sa gallstones?

and dun sana sa grade 1 retrolisthesis, is there anyway may maisasuggest din po na self-treatment?

    salamat po in advance.

  5. I have paypal account.. my client transfered funds to my paypal account but the problem is i dont know where to withdraw my money from my paypal account. i tried to verify it from my banco de oro (BDO) bank but they wont let BDO be verified with Paypal. Any solutions with this would be great and very much appreciated.
try eon ng unionbank. baka magwork. mine will be ready by next week. i-try ko, then, feedback ako dito. you may try na rin, 350 lang naman anual fee.

  7. Thanks, Doc Pepper. As usual, you have been of great help. This question is really part of a bigger concern. I am currently investing in the stock market. (By the way, your UITF thread has been very helpful to me since last year when I started with equity funds of BPI.) I have 3 friends who are investing with me. Our arrangement is that I will invest our money, and I get a certain percentage of the profit but I will not share any losses. I am actually a bit OK here. This is an informal arrangement among the four of us. And so far, we are OK with that arrangement. Before the end of the year, I would like to make everyhting legally binding. A contract will be signed saying so and so. I will look into that later.

My next question is what if I am willing to ask some potential clients, say former colleagues, classmates, or relatives, to join me in this investment. I alreay have a design on how I should go with this. Now, I am ok with the present arrangement that I have -- that I get a certain percentage of profit, and I will not share any possible loss. There is no "lockup" period because I would not share any loss anyway. Now, this might be attractive to some if they can take risk. However, for those who are a bit risk-averse, the stock market is a no-no. To convince potential clients, is it legal for me as an individual person (as against bank instuitutions that are covered by your reply above) to draft a legal contract offering an arrangement that will guarantee their investment as long as they maintain their investment for a certain lockup period? The way I see this, this is similar to asking for a loan and making a guaranteed payment over a certain period of time. The only difference is that the interest may vary from 0% to a higher interest rate. Payment is still guaranteed. In exchange for this guarantee, they have to maintain that investment with me for, say, 1 or 2 years, and a higher percentage for me if there is profit.

I hope I am not taking much of your time, Doc Pepper.

  8. hiddenhunter,

tama, my apologies. i jumped into the assumption that you have a high risk tolerance. well, you may have that profile but i am not sure. tama si codenamev. assess your risk tolerance muna. geo and pa (yung mga shares ko) are mostly speculative. like ngayon, i just experienced 30K paperloss. but then, to me, its something i can sleep with pa. the volatility of these stocks is so high that you might find portfolio only 50% of what you originally have in just a day or two.

    thanks, boss codenamev sa pag-check.

  9. Mali na naman pasok ko sa PA! Akala ko medyo support level na at .25!!! May bagsak pa pala!!!

hehehe, pareho tayo aspogg. took a bit of profit kanina, then, posted immediately at .25. dem! tama si tsupitero! mukhang .2350/.24. pero ok lang (pinipilit kong kumbinsihin ako na ok lang, hehehe), unless you are more of a day trader?

    [syet, may .2250 pa.]

pero if you'll look at the charts nila, usuall yung black after a couple of days na run up. sana ganun nga... :-)

  10. Congrats for your PA.

Posted at 0.18 the day before the start of the run... DANG! Mahirap kumita kung barat hehe. Then decided not to chase the run. Sayang din, but I'm still trying to get the "feel" of PA. Since, it's the wildest in the market. Could be time to start getting small amount going down from 0.25... but I'm happy with MIC and NI for now :) I was given a tip that it will retreat to 0.15... before the run. Guess the tip was wrong... AGAIN. For me, better to trust technical analysis from now on, more reliable than tips, which have a low batting average for me, or the tips get very old quickly.

Tsupitero.com advises getting at 0.235-0.24 maybe where he estimates the support will be. Naturally, it's the Chart of the Week. :)

Thanks! At tama ka, mahirap kumita pag barat. I got in at .21/.2150. Pero not bad a profit na rin eh? :-) I haven't tried NI and MIC since I entered the market. When I looked at MIC, wow, laking pagsisisi ko! My PA bets were mostly on gut feel. Katakot. Have been profiting from PA and GEO from its wildness for a couple of times na. And I'll probably enjoy this one for the last time... one for the road ika nga. After this, takot na talaga ako, baka sinuswerte lang. TA is still the best for me -- look at OV and GEO before its correction. :-)

    Good luck to us!

  11. thanks, bro.

on another matter, are there any news that philppine residents can accept payments through paypal?

    currently, we can only send.

pwede ng makareceive sa philippines. :-) just got an email, and check ko rin website nila. :-) nice! problem is, i don't know how it works. suppose someone paid me throough paypal, and now, i want to withdraw it. my mastercard is the opne linked to it, but i am thinking of adding a debit acrd (yung sinasabi sa taas na EON card ng union). paano ba malilipat sa debit card yun? any idea, guys?

  12. Hi, Guys, nngayon lang ako nakabalik dito.

Doc Pepper or anyone in the forum,

I read somewhere (here I guess) that BSP does allow banks to provide guarantee into someone's investment, i.e., if after the holding period (or anytime actually), and the NAVPU went down, then, you have to live with that. My question is why do they prohibit that? What if, to attract more clients, the bank can guarantee a no-loss-of-investment as soon as holding period is met? What if the bank is willing to shoulder the possible loss of your investment in exchange for it having more clients? I don't know if my question is making sense at all...

    Thanks!

  13. Di ba AGI has 40% stake in McDonald's? Forgot who holds McDonald's talaga.

    @anarkista

Try citiseconline.com. Nandun nakalagay schedule of seminars nila...

GEO may chance tumaas pa for me. Still holding on to my IS. :)

Thanks, Dude. Visited their website. I tried to enroll in their July 5 (yata) sched, sana ma-accommodate nila ko. I am holding to my GEO and IS. Heard from some friends na nagpapakulo lang daw tong dalawang to, and pag nagkataon, mapapaaga ang Christmas ng mga loyal dito. Hehehe.

  14. I can refer you to my broker friend. But better if you do some business with them first before asking for IPOs. Cause he told me that most brokerage firms won't give out IPOs to new customers. ^_^ PM me na lang if you want...

Btw my pick for now would be IS. ^_^

thanks, bro. i PMed you a while ago.

nanghihinayang ako sa PNB, di ko inabutan ang pag-taas. i don't know if it has already reached its peak. sold mine with very minimal profit. buti nakabawi ako sa geo. :-) i am looking at IS, mukhang kuha din ako. :-) probably, COL din, baka makahabol pa.

  15. Hi I'm newbie here. After reading your post, I got interested to invest in UITF peso balanced fund.

My question is which local bank gives better rate based on 2nd quarter performance. Pls specify roughtly the rate

of each bank. Thanks in advance....

you may also try visiting www.uitf.com.ph. i don't know how accurate their data are but i found them useful when i started out with UITFs. they have consolidated infos on the NAVPUs and history of banks offering UITFs.

  16. i am using bpitrade. it really is not good, especially the registration phase. it took the bank more than 10 days to approve. and you are right, time is gold. i have been eyeing a certain issue and it surged upward but my account was not ready yet. good thing [for me] is that i planned a boracay vacation for a week, and i wasn't able to feel that much wait because i didn't count the vacation as part of the waiting. hehehe. seriously though, i think some other online trading sites i think are better. called ciisec and i think they only need a day to process your application if you are to submit your application directly. well, i am holdoing on my bpitrade account because i am here already anyway.

the only advantage that i can see in bpitrade is the quick processing of redeeming your funds. inform them before 11am about withdrawing your funds, and you'll have them in the afternoon in your settlement account. i don't know if you can do it that quick in other online trading companies. but in terms of research, i think citisec is better. i availed of their free trial and the research is much better than that of bpitrade. i don't know. i am just a neophyte in this trade but i find the citisec research better than bpitrade.

i have no information about other online trading firms. hope this has help you somehow.

  17. If you're referring to GMA 7. It's going IPO around July 30. For me I'm gonna buy this stock. :) Ask your broker about it...

Help naman po: I am currently trading online. And I guess I cannot participate in IPOs if this is the setup. May I know how I could get in touch with brokers who could help me participate in IPOs? I am also waiting for GMA7. And Golden Arches sana, kaso, pinostpone yata nila yung sa kanila..

    Thanks in advance!

  18. Sir,

May I know the exact title of the book? I am about to start my Stocks Trading career as I have opened an online account already. But you are right, I should read a good book before starting bigtimee.

    Thanks!

A piece of advise for newbies on investing in the stock market. It is always a good start to read a good book on it.

A book by Ackerman is a good beginners book. I think it is available at the PSE. Start the process correctly.

For those greatly interested in it, it can be very very profitable being an agent specially during these time.

I know of quite a few making Pesos 500,000 monthly and I am talking almost every month for the last 6 to 12 months. Beats call center job and it is a half day event.
