Fit should be your first concern especially if you're looking for earphones or IEMs (in-ear monitors). It's more of an issue with IEMs because if you can't get a good fit and seal, they won't sound their best.
Sadly there's no such thing as a "standard" ear. For the longest time I've avoided earphones because I know they never fit in my ears properly without pain.
The new IEMs are making me think differently though. I managed to fit demo units of the Shure E2c and E4c and they fit me very well! They're VERY expensive though...the cheapest of the line (E2c) costs PhP4500, and the price climbs to a peak of PhP14500
Agree there on fit for IEMs. Prices have come down a bit i think since this post. I had a pair of Shure E2C and fit was ok so very effective at blocking out sounds. Lost them!
Tried out the Bose noise cancelling phones at the store and WoW! Of course the price is also Wow!

back pack for functionality. Balanced weight (assuming you don't just sling it on one side), keeps your hands and arms free. Have a targus.

I got a P1 too. Not happy with the built in music player because it doesn't play music or audio files continuously (unless I haven't figured out how to tweak it. Will try what you did. Sounds like a good deal! Thanks for tip!

I got a Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet XT61 with an 8 cell battery a few months back. Pretty happy with it for my purposes. Relatively light weight for travel, long battery life - 6 hours or so.

Try Pagliacci in Podium. Owner is Italian - Mauricio. Food is good.

Had eaten at Fely's about three or four times and have been happy with the cooking. I particularly like the way the vegetables are cooked. However, I am not Kapampangan and I guess its in the end a matter of preference.

This is great and thanks! Got as far as installing the swiss manager. Somehow can't run the capswitch application on my P1i. Went to the link, clicked on Capswitch.sis but nothing happens. Will try to figure things out or hear from you!
