I just bought p1i last week. It's really decent for its price at 13k + 900 pesos for the nice capdase leather case giving it an elegant look. The only thing I hate about my phone is that I could no longer text while driving, damn! Should have thought twice before buying this kind of phone. But overall, it's a nice buy.
That's why I like the G900 so much. It has very similar features as the P1i (even the graphic interface is the same) plus a 5 megapixel camera and yet it has a regular keypad for ease in texting. Of course, its more expensive by about 5k as compared to the P1i

mga sir anu ba ok na gamitin na SE phones ngayon? plan ko kase p1i eh gusto ko sana executive looks hehehe
Get the G900. Same features and more. Easier to use pa...

I just got my G700 and I have one major problem with it - I can't find a place to attach a lanyard. Does anybody know where it is? And what protective casing is good for it? (I don't like the crystal casing)
If its anything like the G900 you'll find a small hole at the lower left corner (with the phone facing you). You may have to remove the battery cover to access it.

how aout the w902 model maganda ba ?
Check out the reviews at www.phonearena.com. As far as I know this phone has not yet been released. Its supposed to be the successor of the W890. Its a bit large though.

No contest for me. It's Pale Pilsen by a mile!

I don't know what all the fuss is about but let me state categorically... I hate fake boobs. They're so obviously enhanced. If a woman has large breasts it will but naturally sag a bit. Maybe its just me but I find them a turn on since they are real and natural.

but if already have a camera and a pda, what will you choose from the 2?
If I understand your post correctly, you already have a PDA and are just looking for a good phone. Then maybe you should go for the C902 which as a cellphone is marginally easier to use than the G900. I would treat the excellent 5 megapixel camera of the phone as a bonus. In my case, I have gone for the G900 because it offers more "bang for the bucks" you have to shell out. Still, you can't go wrong with either phone.

GLOBE SUCKS...just my opinion

guys which is better for my wife a g900 or c902? ur opinion on this 2 phones pls
The G900 is a smartphone and is the successor of the SE P-series. the C902 is the top of the line model replacing the old SE K-series. It all depends on what one uses the phone for. If you need a PDA/cellphone then get the G900. It's also much easier to use than the P1i. If you are more of the "talk and text" type, then get the C902 since its a bit more user friendly. As for the camera, while both models have a 5.0 megapixel camera, the C902 has a more sophisticated version (note that the "C" stands for cybershot).
All in all, they're both great phones...in my opinion.

thanks dude. will look into the site.
You're welcome. Forgot to mention, make sure that you choose the Philippine website of www.sonyericsson.com/support. This is just to make sure that the Filipino dictionary is downloaded with the firmware

anyone have a review for the g900? planning on getting one
Check out www.phonearena.com.
Adding my two cents worth, if you want a smartphone with features similar to the SE P-series but with a regular keypad instead of the difficult to use QWERTY keypad then the G900 is the phone for you. Mind you, the first thing that you'll notice that its a bit slow like the P990i. As I had posted before, this problem is solved by upgrading your firmware online at www.sonyericsson.com/support. Just follow the instructions and upgrading is easy as pie.
One little thing I like about it is that it has a Tagalog dictionary. All you do is set ENGLISH as your primary dictionary and FILIPINO as the secondary dictionary. Of course, you can only reap this benefit if you use the T9 (predictive text mode) when you text. Texting in tagalog or even taglish has become a breeze. Try the T9, once you get the hang of it you'll never go back to the multitap text mode.

upgrade the firmware...
Just updated the firmware of my G900 over the net at www.sonyericsson.com/support. Great results. Mabilis na especially when opening the contacts. Thanks for the advise!!!

Just got the SE G900. Pretty cool except that its a bit slow. Does anyone know how to speed it up?
-
Just got the W890i. It rocks! All the quirks that I didn't like in the W880i (my previous phone) have been addressed.

Doesn't really matter although it might take a while longer to build on the relationship.
