i don't think being a single mom raises eyebrows anymore in this day and age. Its a common occurrence and each one of us at the very least know someone who is a single mom for one reason or another. either by choice or circumstance. nowadays, its not a morality issue anymore raising a kid by oneself unlike days of old. of course raising a kid is difficult even in a normal family setup
