Sonya's Garden in Alfonso used to be a favorite. Homey ambiance, good food, awesome service. This was the time where they had only one dining area. However, service and quality deteriorated when they had a big expansion to accomodate more patrons. They introduced a buffet system that really destroyed the homey feel. Service used to be more intimate. Food is served by batches. Salad and bread first and then pasta as the main course. Now, bara bara na. Tapos na kumain ng pasta before the bread is served. Also, you need to call the waiter numerous time just for a refill of their dalandan juice or to ask for water. Really disappointing.

I recommend Shangrila Boracay. VIP service from the time you step out of the Caticlan airport to the welcome drinks in their Mabuhay lounge and the exclusive speed boat transfer direct to the hotel's own jetty port. You wont even be hassled lining up and paying enviromental fees in the public jetty port. They will take care of that. They also have their own beach for some exclusivity (Banyugan and Punta Bunga). Malayo nga lang sa white beach and DMall about 15 mins van ride.

Everyday before but not much lately. Members nowadays do not contribute much stuff anymore and much of the older content were archived. The site has gone boring compared to early/mid 2000. This is just my personal opinion.

Not only are the people there incompetent, terrible din ang service. Sometime 2001, I brought my Honda Civic to their branch in Makati. Yong nag-assess ng kotse initially was the guard (I think its SOP to check on gasgas, bangga para di sila liable later on) but for Christ sakes ... yong guard... hello! I thought 5-star service dito ... I'm really OC with my car and I thought the guard was not supposed to do that. I had to wait for 20 more minutes to be accomodated. Anyways, Im not sure kung wala pa yong supervisor but I get to talk to a lady sa office who did not know what she was talking about.

Anyways, I did not have a choice kasi insurance yong magbabayad and they were the one na accredited ng insurance company. One thing, Rip-off charging nila. They quoted around 50K for the repairs (I went to another repair shop prior to this and they quoted 25K lang). So they made the repairs (damaged headlight and replacement of bumper). Pagbalik ko Kala ko everything was ok na kasi 5 Star service (so they claim) daw sila. Then I was looking at the replaced parts. Putsa yong headlight nadale ng pinta. Nagsorry na lang yong supervisor. Wag kayong papagawa dito.

Overpriced, Incompetent, Bad Service...

I recently tried Amici de Don Bosco in Pasay Road. Its good and very reasonably priced.

Both Spiral and Circles have a good line of dishes. Tried Market Cafe rin sa Hyatt Ermita pero kulang sila sa food variety.

If you are off sa budget. Try nyo na rin Saisaki Php 600 lang ata. Pero matipid sila sa Tempura which I really dont like. Nagpabuffet pa sila

New facilities nandon sa Victoria-Malate. Very nice. Kahit you pay extra compared to other motels at least you get your money's worth. Hindi ka pa mahihiya sa kasama mo.

The most I paid here is 1,880 which is good for 12 hours. I think it was a suite. Pero I though it was money well spent.

Galing lang ako sa lugar na to yesterday. Checked in at Queensland. Ayos nga, 299php for 5 hrs. Makakarami kayo talaga ng chicks mo dito! May jacuzzi sana kaso mukhang madumi kaya di na namin sinubukan. Medyo dyahe lang dito kasi isang garage lang per dalawang kuwarto kaya pag naunahan ka, sa driveway mo lang maipaparada ang auto mo. Walang privacy yun, paano kung makita ng kakilala mo yung auto mo?

Actually very budget friendly yong Queensland pero the facilities are really old or are not well maintained. May tub yong room pero madumi. Yong sheets medyo luma na. Yong unan hindi malambot. TV lumalabas yong wires. Yong ref luma na at hirap na lumamig.

Pero in fairness, if you are just there for a quick shag ayos na tong motel na to. Pero a lot can be desired. Improve sana nila facilities.
