The Terra has better reviews. Na put off lang ako kasi medyo dated yung interior. Plus yung 360 cam ng Terra but ended up with the Everest. Okay na may front sensor sakin. Maintenance naman once a year or every 10k km lang. First pms was around 8k then 2nd pms was around 10k

Everest Next Gen Got in Aug 2022. Was initially looking at the Terra, already had a reservation but something about the execution of the interior was off. Gear shift looks outdated, di na uso yung mahabang shift knobs. Red leather accents were okay, added some sort of class but not sure kung long term eh mukha paring okay. What put me off was the door design, mukang luma, and true enough the design was carried over from the Navarra. Around that time the Everest just launched and sabi ko daan nalang ako ng dealer to check even tho I was already waiting for the Terra. The unit available was the blue Everest Sport. At first look macho talaga siya tingnan, it was the biggest PPV that time, 20in mags and blacked out, wala ring chrome parts. The interior was better executed too, di siya pilit in terms of design. I've heard horror stories sa Ford, and we had a Escape (which was expensive to maintain) but I decided to take the plunge since the Everest was the newest of the PPV bunch. Pros: - Light steering, very easy to drive the car. Everytime I drive my other car akala ko lagi flat yung tires. - Features are better than competitors, leather seats even at the lowest variant, big display, power seats etc. Can be nimble when it wants to, may hatak din. - Space. Maluwag compared to Fortuner and Montero - Ride comfort is okay even with 20in rims. Better than Montero, much better than old Fortuner (around 2021 or 2022 nagimprove ng suspension yung Fortuner, mas magada na rides ng mga bagong Fortuner ngayon) I feel the old Everest has a slightly more comfortable ride. Pero talo parin ng crossover - Fordpass, eto isa sa pinaka okay na feature ng Everest. I can remote start the car from anywhere, open/close doors even without the key. Ilang beses na I need to get something from the car and di ko na kailangan umakyat ng house to get the car keys. Remote start while I'm preparing to leave the house so di ko na need painitin yung car plus aircon starts already. - Aircon. I can attest sa lamig ng Nissan aircon pero lalaban yung Everest. I Rarely need to go below 23 Cons: - Cheap plastic on some parts of the interior - Panel gaps. Hindi dahil inconsistent siya pero ang dami, hassle linisin yung car kasi sinisiksikan ng dumi yung panel gaps. Also may mga panel gaps inside the door, nasa baba naman siya di siya kita unless when you clean the car. Mabilis pasukan ng dumi and water ingress - Headlight switch location. Pag american cars wala sa steering column, nandun sa baba. Sa inis ko I just leave it in auto - Medyo mahina headlight (tho naka dark tint din kasi) - Minor pero di naaangat yung wipers at off position - Park light lamp still uses standard bulbs and yung housing was made of cheap plastic. Nasira yung clamp to hold it in place. Somebody posted sa group na akala niya may nagnakaw nung park light bulb niya kasi it was hanging, when I checked mine ganun din. Made minor modifications to the housing and changed to led bulb na - Minsan inconsistent power. Parang may mood swings hehe. Minsan ang lakas ng hatak minsan so so. Tho I always use Petron and Shell only - Sport mode does not come in standard. Need pa iunlock - 3rd row seat angle is fixed, di siya na rerecline
