    I asked my father one time: "Why do you keep buying Rolex or Panerai? Why don't you venture out to Patek and AP? You can clearly afford it."

    He replied "If I do, you wouldn't have anything to commemorate surpassing me professionally. A timepiece is suppose to be more than a bling. Every man has a personal story with every watch he wears. When the day comes you'll surpass me in terms of achievements, go buy a Patek or AP for yourself."
