Why Do Pinoys And Pinays Go To Dubai

Recommended Posts

If you know someone whose planning to buy a tourist visa to look for a job in Dubai please warn them. I have nothing against Dubai, but the number of Filipinos here looking for a job is a big disappointment. Can you imagine spending approximately $2000 just to look for a job? And what landing a job with less than $250 salary a month. If you want to work in Dubai please go to a credible recruitment agency. Dubai is an ideal place to work, the crime rate is very low. But moral crimes committed by Pinoys through selling a visit visa is rising. Why moral crime? You promise a poor individual that it is easy to look for a job, where there is no job at all! Its simply a form of illegal recruitment the only difference is the victim leaves the country.

But for those of you who wants pleasure why not try visiting Dubai.

I definately agree... it's a gamble looking for a job in dubai ... you have to have contacts and / or rep*table agency backing you up ...

for those people who wants to gamble make sure you have "Money" to spare

Good luck people ... "the grass is not always greener on the other side"

Yup, based on my experience its really tough here in dubai. I'm currently working for a contracting company, pero before I landed this job, men ang hirap.

2 months ako stay with my cousin then nag exit and reentry.

Word of advice: if you want to go here make sure your field is in Engineering or health or medical courses. yan ang in dito

Marami pumupunta dito commerce grad or IT grads kaso the demand for this kind of professionals are not that high.

Also, it would be to your advantage if may relatives ka dito to support you. magastos dito.

Goodluck!

I'm also thinking about trying to work in dubai, just for experience, my family has a great business here but I really want to go see the world and I'm not getting any younger too.

My friend already left for dubai yesterday, he got a permanent work in a bank, though he started applying only about a month later than I did, so I envied him when he left, but I gave him a great farewell inuman in embassy last friday night.

autodesk, meron ba dyan trabaho for a law undergrad?

A friend of mine went to Dubai late last year, around November I think. He was convinced by his client that there a lot of jobs waiting in Dubai, so there he went. But to his dismay there was no job waiting for him as promised. I really felt sorry for my friend.

Bro, my advice, if u have a job in the phil. try to get a leave of absence for at least a month, then punta ka dito to see if u can land a much better job here. Wag ka magresign, para u have a fall back. To be honest mahirap maghanap ngayon work dito its because of the competition from other foreign nationals, in particular indians and pakistanis.

Goodluck bro, and when ur here, look me up, baka may maitulong :hypocritesmiley:

yup, sad reality dito yan. as I said, when u come here make sure handa ka humarap sa sang katutak na struggles. mahirap dito, but in a way maganda sya as training ground if u hve plans to jump to other countries. sa hirap ksi na dadaanan mo dito, magiging handa ka na sa anu mang hirap that other countries will smack into your face.

Dami mag reresign samin, kahit na yung mga matagal na (5 or more years sa company) kasi supposedly meron na doon work na mga 45k a month, pero inisip ko eh mahal rin ata expenses doon diba? So kung mag increase ng half or 1/3 ang salary nila dito eh worth it pa ba yung pag trabaho doon... Mga pamilyadong peeps pa yun.

Ganun talga yun dun??

Plano ko pa naman pumunta, Ph98,000 for a tourist visa. My cousin nag bayad siya ng 70K baka maka punta na siya this March....

Hirap ba talaga ang trabaho pagka ganun sa Dubai? Any firsthand experrience?

Bro, as I said before, if your field is in IT or commerce, I suggest not to go here, kasi ang babagsakan lang is waiter. If you want to make a mark here, your field should be in engineering(civil, mech, electrical) or architecture. Boom kasi ang contruction and engineering services dito.

Ingat bro

well depende yun, 45K is the whole package na ba?ask if may accomodation or transpo allowance. Staying in dubai is quite expensive, para na rin western countries ang standard of living.

Worth naman ang pagpunta dito for as long as may demand sa profession nyo dito. Saka swertihan din talaga. Naway when you do get here, I hope u guys can struck pot of gold.
