germancut666
ok naman almost 1.5 years na din akong subscriber sd yung package na kinuha ko.... malamang mas mas ok kung hd. Edited September 20, 2010 by germancut666 Quote Link to comment
bientot
do they allow upgrades from SD to HD? or could one simply request for certain channels to be added to the SD programs and pay on per additional program? Quote Link to comment

blueflower
I had recently had Cignal installed at our house. Does anyone know how to chnage or adjust the time/clock on the Humax box. I can't find it in the manual. Thanks guys. Quote Link to comment
darknight112
I don't think you can adjust the time. If you are connected to the system, the box will automatically go to default time. Quote Link to comment
germancut666
pag 00:00 yung time nung sa box either may problem yung reception or may problem yung dish/splitter. Quote Link to comment
Orgasm Donor
the signal of cignal is now good during heavy rains. Quote Link to comment

nwebe
May one-time fee pa ba sila upon subscription? This is the one keeping me from moving to them. Quote Link to comment
daphne loves derby
sa mga nagbabalak kumuha ng Satellite TV, you have 3 choices, but I recommend Cignal. You can see why; http://www.dish.com.ph/ http://www.dish.com.ph/subscription/PACKAGE.png I am using the Cignal 590HD package - Sulit na sulit sa dami ng channel at sa linaw dahil nga HD PS: I am not an endorser/seller of any, i just want to share some information's and reference. omega2959
si skycable mukhang lumalaban with their own hd packages Quote Link to comment
omega2959
the dual def ones are good. yung may mix of sd and hd channels. i think the 500 peso one is best if you do not watch tv as much. it already has the basic channels that most people are looking for Quote Link to comment
AsusThek
antayin na lang natin if sky buyouts dream it will totally dominated the pay tv industry. Quote Link to comment
omega2959
antayin na lang natin if sky buyouts dream it will totally dominated the pay tv industry. medyo malabo ata na ma buyout yung cignal. pero nothing is impossible. it seems ganon nga strategy ni sky. just buyout the competition Quote Link to comment
omega2959
Even if Sky and Dream merges, their service is still different. These two are based on cable lines whereas signal is OTA signals. May mga lugar na walang cable lines at magastos magpakabit kasi you need to pay the entire cable line papunta sa bahay mo from the highway; whereas, satellite dish based services like Cignal can accommodate even far flung areas basta may signal reception. at mas malinaw pa ang cignal kesa sky na cable diba? especially kung analog pa na sky yung gamit mo Quote Link to comment
omega2959
I don't know. Never ko pa naman na-try yung Sky. See this interesting comparison below though. Parang pareho lang naman? From this post http://www.affordablecebu.com/load/technology/cignal_vs_skycable_video_quality_which_is_better/7-1-0-20021http://www.affordablecebu.com/pictures/articles/technology/Cignal-vs-SkyCable.jpg well, maybe those two are the best quality for both. so in short they are just the same? cignal is satellite dish based while sky is cable based right? both are digital? omega2959
i just read the article and it seems to favor cignal over sky. i also do not notice any difference on the two pictures presented. maybe some people with sharper eyes notice the difference Quote Link to comment
omega2959
^Ako din eh. Parang pareho lang naman yung picture? Although some forums mention na mas malinaw daw ang satellite dish signal (image and audio also) compared sa cable lines. i think its because of the cable lines used by sky. maloko ata yung mga technicians nila. hindi inaayos yung pagkabit. yung satellite ata mas madali ayusin yung pagkabit Quote Link to comment
Guest djunya2006
i personally do not like Sky cable or broadband. There hasn't been a time that their services were not being fixed. I wonder about the contractors that they use, because of the amount of calls that have been made to my home and I would think to others as well.At least now I can switch my broadband to Pldt and if Cignal gets more channels may move to them as well. Spades
Cignal user here... maganda ang cignal... pero problem lang sa kanya pag umuulan me konting disruption nang signal.... which is normal naman sa VSAT systems... Quote Link to comment
startoffbeat
Cignal user for 18 months, I have the Plan 1090 with I do not know how many HD channels. but enough to keep me glued to the tv for at least 3 hours a day. They recently added Hyper HD(which shows UFC cards) and PBA Rush(they show PBA games in HD and no commercials, the better to hate on your most hated player with). Only problem I had was the occasional disruption when heavy rains are coming. The reception will go out for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Otherwise, the subscription has been awesome. At least I have an early warning when rains are about to fall. The outage gives me enough time to grab my sinampay from outside the house. Quote Link to comment
