melancholic
My Favorite planetarium software http://www.stellarium.org/ The best feature I love is the "Go to" feature where you can fly to any object in our solar system to view the sky from the object's perspective. For example, a view of Saturn from one of its moons, Tethys. Quote Link to comment

melancholic
It's Sirius and the Deep Sky Object is the Orion Nebula, but I'm wondering how you took that picture, or it's just from a mirror telescope. Quote Link to comment
b_9904
Shadowspy: Thanks dude :-) Musta na? Melancholic: I took it with my Cannon A550, ISO 800, Night mode. Also the picture has been processed through adobe photoshop to make the stars, which are originally dim, look brighter. Quote Link to comment
jakeyjunkie
Kanina sa may Bayside sa likod ng Mall Of Asia, nag-stargazing kami ng kasama ko. Nakita ko na naman 'yung constellation na lagi kong nakikita since I was still a child. Hanggang ngayon, tinatamad akong alamin kung ano ang pangalan. Wala masyadong makikitang stars sa Metro Manila. Sa mga probinsiya, animo'y glitters sila sa dami. Quote Link to comment

b_9904
jeiku: Aside from the fact na polluted sa Manila maliwanag kasi sa observing site mo eh. try going to darker observing sites and mas madami ka ding makikita kahit nasa Manila ka. Shadowspy: Thanks. Keep us posted Quote Link to comment
