axlerose100
Anyone know where to get a decent lobster dinner for special occasions? Doesn't have to be fine dining or anything too fancy. The only place I've had lobster was in Vegas, and it was for $5 to $7 a pop. Heavily subsidized, I think. Any nice places to go to in Manila? Quote Link to comment

masi
Well you can go to Gloriamaris (chinese restaurant). Talk to the head waiter or ask the chef to come out and discuss how you want it cooked or if he has suggestions in preparing it. This is how normally do it if I get tired of seeing the same dishes in their menu. Albeit, I'm not much of a lobster fan since I find the meat a tad tougher and less tasty to my liking. I prefere giant white shrimps or crabs. But in those occasions I would order lobster, it's more of the lobster bisque and lobster thermidor. I had it once as a Lobster Miso soup (for the head) and that tail was served teppanyaki at a popular Japanese restaurant here. Quote Link to comment

axlerose100
Thanks sa mga nagreply. Actually gusto ko yung simple lang, steamed and served with lemon butter, naglalaway tuloy ako. Haven't really tried ordering at dampa. Masubukan nga. @TodoBigayActually wala akong idea magkano dito sir, sa US the cheapest I had was at a dinner buffet in Vegas. It was around $9 pero that was a long time ago, hehe. @BrownmanSaan yung St. Margaret's sir? I don't believe I've heard of it before. Baka naman super mahal dun, hehe. @chapschaps, masi, Thanks, try ko nga sa places na yun pag may magandang date. Quote Link to comment
