LordJaden
Nice pix bro, how much are the rooms, and can you give us a little more info like which island is best to swim, how much is the boat rental, other activities to do, where would you park your car, etc? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
hilars888
There's lots of island to choose from, I rem staying in Quezon....not so sure, the price is 1,100 Php for 1 night, no electricity but not without a car battery....we leave our cars on a guarded lot and proceeded to our island via a small boat, the price is 1,600Php for round trips including the tour and snorkeling sites....usual island hoping and a cave for a little "leap of faith" antics..... shrike
the websites http://hundredislands.ph and http://www.alaminoscity.gov.ph are good sites for HINP. they have a forum where all the possible questions are answered clearly and informatively. I personally called and reserved hotels, bancas and equipments via the info from these sites. All my phoned canvass were answered politely by hotel receptionists and they provide first hand info. have fun. Quote Link to comment

giftedchild
tip lang: pag overnight kayo on one of the unoccupied islands, try to pitch your tents as far away from the water as much as possible. we had this incident way way back when we were college students pa, na we woke up with hang-overs and soaking wet. our 3-day food and booze supplies washed away by the high tide. hahaha. what an experience for us. songster
Da problm at 100 Island is accomodations. The islands ar nice but mostly run down hotels and no other attractions. We styed at the best loking place and shared the night with anay and ipis. Sayang ang biyahe. Drive thru Zambalas was nice. Also few nice hotels/resorts. Time for someone to develop infrastructure to support the islands. masarap lng dumalaw dito once eh... check nyo governor island...maganda view deck dito  then pwede ka mag snorkling and swimming sa quizon islands naman 800php roundtrip binayad ko..ako lng mag isa yung room na kinuha ko mura lng..1,000php for 1 night sweet huney ata name ng hotel na yun after noon umuwi na ako share ko later pix doon Quote Link to comment
sanlucas
i definitely agree with songster that the drive thru zambales via subic is great. maganda ang daan. Mas ok ngayon yung nlex-clark-subic na hway 1.5 hrs from balintawak....galing! Quote Link to comment

dark_horse
last maunday thursday, we stayed overnight in one of the islands kaso hindi sa mga developed islands dahil sobrang daming tao. we stayed at scout island. there are a lot of islands pa na pwede mag overnight, to name a few, martha, romulo and lopez islands. But make sure to bring with you your tent, cooking utensils and most especially your food, water and drinks. Quote Link to comment

shrike
went there yesterday. Interesting trivia, which is very Filipinosque. There's a Devil's Island way back 5 years ago (it exists in some old HINP map). One of my fave island coz you can pitch tent and stay overnight and its purty private mot of the times. 2 years ago locals started calling Devil's Island, Kagaw Island. Then this year, when they started putting up 'funny looking' Island markers, Devil's Island is now known as Macapagal island. Is the pun intended ? Quote Link to comment
