Ang totoo is " mas Lumambot" pero do not expect it to give a car like ride. Remember the Chassis is taken from a pick up truck where in Rigidity is priority. Pero may difference sa previous generation fortuner.

 

My problem with my unit, I do not know if normal lang or hindi is kung nasa P position ka and Nilagay sa Reverse, may loud banging sound. First time for me to experience it on a daily driver.

Pano ba isetup yun voice recognition na button sa wheel ng fortuner 2016? I tried hard press and sa setup wala naman options to configure the voice recognition.

Give a call and inform your agent / service dealer about it.

 

I believe there is a on-going recall with the Fortuner because of transmission related issues.

meron talagang tunog na lumalagutok from p to r. sabi sa casa pwede ecu update para mawala. ako sinasara ko pinto para di na lang marinig haha kung di mo talaga matake yung tunog pila ka sa dealer for servicing yung mga naunang nagreklamo alam ko pinalitan trans assembly nila.

I informed about my agent about the "loud" sound from Park to Reverse and ang " Kadyot" every time nag uupshift and downshift ang car, they have a new program daw as of aug 31, I will bring it sa casa na lang for 1k service

Isn't it amazing that the dealership is aware of this trait (and cure) yet they release a new vehicle without upgrading the software. I just find it altogether irresponsible which leads to customer anxiety and dissatisfaction.

This is driving me nuts, I know it is a minor issue pero naman, nakakaasar . I remembered Gary V's song na " Nawawala bumabalik.. eto nanaman"

with my observation, it happens every time the rear seats is folded. pag naka fold kasi natatakpan ang aircon. I am sure it has something to do with it

Was surprised to see the top line variant was more than P2.2 million...this is a BOF trucklet based on a platform that was introduced was back in 2003.

sobra tigas pa din suspension. test drive pa lang back pain na. my wife already complaining the bumpy ride after just 10 seconds of the test drive run. need to upgrade to bilstein pa din kung bibili ka nito. hina pa din brakes wtf. the new montero is still far way better

maganda sana yung bagong fortuner kaso mahal na, tapos yung G variant parang basic lang wala man lang nung mga basic features na nasa iba sasakyan

My Dad, family members etc. are Toyota fanatics. hirap lang ako makipagtalo kasi ang mga luma nilang Toyota like 93 GLI ay tumatakbo pa din compared sa mga ibang kotse ng kapanahunan niya.

 

Iba kasi ang reliability ng Toyota , mataas na ang quality nila dati pa kaya madaming loyalists.

the life of a car depends on the owner. Even if you own a BMW at pabaya ka, bibigay din eto.

usually, mga sasakyan ng mga kuripot mas madaling masira at pumangit.

For example, if you dont wax a car at least once a month, after 3 years,pangit na paint nito.

Unlike one that is well taken cared of, parang bago eto tignan.

Secondly, wag ka umasa na pag hindi fully synthetic oil mo, the car will give you what you

expect it to still be after 10 years.

Thirdly, pag may konting sira after a few years, palit agad piyesa para hindi madamay ang ibang parts.

Lastly, pag hindi maingat sa lubak, kahit anong car pa yan bibigay talaga.

Moral lesson ; love your car and your car will love you.

i still like the design of Fortuner compared to Montero and Explorer

In terms of ride, montero better but in quality fortuner better. Change shocks and spring, ride will be better.

Ok naman talaga fortuner..one negative comment from a lady friend, maalog daw, which is common sa SUVs dahil same design ng pick-ups
