TACKAPUSHA Posted June 30, 2006 Share Posted June 30, 2006 here in NY, i like boars head. super crispy but not too salty. next is nathans and sabrett. but get the ones with skin on so it will be crispy. there are thousands of brands and dietz and watson is also good. oscar meyer is not so good. in the phils, i always bought purefoods german franks. never liked red colored hotdogs. and there are no red colored hotdogs here. top it with onions (cooked in a sour like orange sauce and mustard, wow, just like the hotdog stands in the city where most of them are sabrett. but they also sell good hot beef sausages...a bit hot but flavorful. hotdogs here in the hotdog stand are about 1.50$ each while a hot sausage is 2$.
