countrystyle
how's this freedom bar? malayo ba sa gulo? safe ba ang place? Thanks. well, it's in anonas very close to aurora blvd. it's as safe (or as dangerous) as any other bar or club in cubao. i've never experienced anything bad in the area. Quote Link to comment

hotrod2005
Emerging Watering Hole Cento is Literally Jazzing UpBusiness Mirror, December 24, 2009 The increasingly sought after nightspot in Quezon City is relaunching its new line-up of nightly activities for 2010. Monday and Tuesdays would now be known as Acoustic nights, where featured acoustic performers will play popular favorites and let members of the audience jam with them karaoke-style on selected numbers. The still popular Jazz nights, where Cento has earned its reputation as an intimate jazz bar and after office hours destination are now on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Weekend warriors looking to dance the nights and mornings away would be more than pleased to know that DJ music that includes hip-hop and rhythm and blues are now on every Fridays and Saturdays. In addition to its regular line-up, Cento has also been a selected venue to many events such as birthdays and several Christmas parties this season. Tonight it also hosts FROSTBITE!, a collaboration with DJ Crash, Blackslip and YellowLine productions. FROSTBITE! is a red carpet party event similar to those popular high school and college open parties. A dress to impress affair, those who come in their Christmas outfits can win lucky VIP passes to the VIP lounge at the second floor where they can just sit on the couches and just chill out with friends in between all the dancing and drinking downstairs. Speaking of drinks, Cento also has an ongoing promo where you can drink all the cocktails you want including the bestselling Wuwu and Cosmo Cento for only P300 from 6 to 9PM as well as all the shooters you can handle all night for only P200. Free flowing shooters in different flavors will also be available during FROSTBITE! And the food is not something to scoff at either. Cento has a wide selection of delicious pica-pica that includes house specialties like Pollo Speido (chicken in a skewer), Quattro Formaggi Pasta (their own four cheese pasta), Sardinas Bruschetta and Cento’s own take on classic favorites like Beef Salpicao, Pork Sisig, Nachos, Cheese Sticks, Calamari and Crispy Pata, among many others. Good food, thirst-quenching drinks, terrific entertainment, cozy ambiance and lively party atmosphere all conspire in a first-rate venue like no other. Cento is located at 41 El Jardin del Presidente Condo, Sgt. Esguerra St. corner Sct Bayoran St., South Triangle, Quezon City near ABS-CBN and GMA broadcast network studios. Quote Link to comment

RED2018
Boy Katindig (a Pinoy jazz fusion icon of the 80s) has a jazz bar at Greenhills. Think keyboard jazz ala David Benoit, he performs at weekends with better than most aspiring jazz artists on weekdays. If you're certified jazz fusion lover (Hiroshima, Benoit, Earl Klugh, et. al), you'll love it here. Quote Link to comment
