denimhead
Uhm, Robert Jordan died of his longtime illness so it couldn't be helped that Sanderson is writing the last 3 books. GRRM on the other hand is just doing a whole lot with his franchise (branching out into gaming and TV) thus taking a whole lot longer to finish books. On topic, Dance ended in some unexpected ways. I like the major character development done on Arya and Daenerys though. Those two still top my list of favorite characters in the book. whos to say GRRM doesnt have any ailments? Im just saying book wait have been and ave of 4-5 years 2 more books makes it a decade .. instead of branching out take care of the main franchise first Quote Link to comment
Wyld
Finished COK Saturday morning, started reading SOS almost immediately. One long weekend after, im halway done SOS. SOS is pretty much awesome. A bit sad at times, but awesome nonetheless! Uhm, Robert Jordan died of his longtime illness so it couldn't be helped that Sanderson is writing the last 3 books. Wyld
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all nights to come Quote Link to comment

Wyld
“Swift as a deer. Quiet as a shadow. Fear cuts deeper than swords. Quick as a snake. Calm as still water. Fear cuts deeper than swords. Strong as a bear. Fierce as a wolverine. Fear cuts deeper than swords. The man who fears losing has already lost. Fear cuts deeper than swords. Fear cuts deeper than swords. Fear cuts deeper than swords.” Edited September 26, 2011 by Wyld Quote Link to comment
