MisterYozo
Advice ko naman sa mga gusto mag-aral ng CCNA at makapasa ng certification pero burden ang mag-enroll sa training center.Self-study na lang using downloadable materials - CCNA Student Guide. For preparation sa certification exams get an updated version of Pass4Sure - hindi ka bibiguin nito, tested brain dumps. If you need to feel the exprience of configuring a Cisco router with full IOS feature, you can download GNS3 router simulator. Gud luck!!! Quote Link to comment

silver41surfer
pre madami ng CCNA ngayon..kasi yung ccna modules ino offer na sa mapua, dlsu as elective sa mga COE,ECE students nila. that was 3 - 4 years ago pa nag start..so expect mas madami na ngayon.competition sa market padami na ng padami,so experience comes in na dyan kung pare pareho akyong Certified na..meron naman kasing mga certified na " by the book" lang ang alam at walang actual exprience sa routers..believe me madaming ganun hehehe goodluck sa training at future job hunting mo as network admin. di dapat bababa sa 30k..pero again depende sa experience, skill at knowledge mo sa ina applayan mo at most important kung kaya ka pa swelduhin ng companies sa asking mo hahaha Sir, im planning to shift career from CSR to Networking field nxt year after my 3 modules in Informatics...So, ano ang first step na job (coz i know, hinde instantly Server/Networ Administrator ang landing ko!) na pwede ko maaplayan? Anubis13
multiple dlink access points lang, kaso kailangan mo i set ng maayos para walang overlapping sa frequency, kasi with 200 users di kaya ng konting Access point yan hindi sa wala akong confidence sa dlink, pero kung 150-200 ang user, mas maganda kung mag cisco AP ka na rin dahil mas malaki ang memory in comparison. also its stable specially sa medium enterpises. imho :headsetsmiley: Quote Link to comment
Linooks
Hi peeps, I am interested din to take this up. Can somebody help this humble being? I am zero in subnetting and stuff in networks like OSI layers, Do I need to have a deep knowledge about those to take CCNA? I have a friend to inquire in rivan. Gusto ko before the end of this year at lease maka CCNA1. Maraming salamat! :mtc: Quote Link to comment
Anubis13
ser, CCNA=OSI+Subenetting+ subnetting is 20% OSI (understanding and application)=65%15%=familiarization of IOS commands imho :headsetsmiley: Quote Link to comment

codehaxor
CCNA is more on subnetting and basic cisco router and switch configuration, be sure to know about those topics and know the router commands by heart, search ccna or cisco in the piratebay website and youll find lots of reviewers there, also dont forget to download a cisco router emulator Quote Link to comment

Gusto ko before the end of this year at lease maka CCNA1. Maraming salamat! :mtc: Tama! Essential ang subnetting hindi lamang sa CCNA certification maging sa practical application.Useful when you deal with large networks with subnets of varying sizes. OSI importante din. Mas madali mag-troubleshoot kapag alam mo ang OSI model.Parang: when troubleshooting connectivity issue you usually check the Physical Layer (Layer 1) like cables, then Data Link (is mac adress being detected), Network Layer (may IP ka ba?). I say nakakatamad sa simula. I remember when I started reading CCNA materials, I never got to the next page without falling asleep.Information overload siguro. Daming terms na hindi mo maintindihan na dapat mo mai-link sa isa't isa. Jargon dito, jargon doon. Pero sulit... Quote Link to comment
