sanmigueelbeer
pls help answerCisco 2 Case Study Wow boss. Mahaba yung sagot dito ah. This is quick and dirty. Please feel free to peer-review or make comments: Break down the network into three (3) groups: Center, Boaz, and Eva. Center Network: Center Network will have two LAN subnets (255.255.255.0 or /24): One for the servers and one for the Workstations. Center router will require dot1q trunking. The switch needs to be configured with two VLAN's: Create the VLAN first and then create the logical interface VLAN. Assign switch ports to the necessary VLAN and allow the uplink (towards the Center router) configured for dot1q trunking. I recommend creating a logical interface Loopback0 address and using this as your default gateway for both subnets. The inter-router link would be best suited if you use a /30 address (255.255.255.252). Boaz and Eva Network: Boaz and Eva will require two different subnets (255.255.255.0 or /24) EACH. The workstations's IP Default gateway will be the router's LAN facing interface. No need for dot1q trunking, in my opinion. Routing: I'd prefer OSPF here. IP Address Schemes: Center Network: Center Router Interface Loopback 0: 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.255 (that's the correct subnet mask: /32) VLAN 1 (User VLAN) 10.0.1.0 /24 Default Gateway: 10.0.0.1 VLAN 2 (Server VLAN) 10.0.2.0 /24 Default Gateway: 10.0.0.1 WAN Interface: S0/0 (Goes to Boaz) IP Address: 10.1.0.1 /30 S0/1 (Goes to Eva) IP Address: 10.2.0.1 /30 Routing: router ospf 1 network 10.0.0.0 0.0.1.255 area 0 Boaz Network: WAN Interface: S0/0 (Goes to Center) IP Address: 10.1.0.2 /30 LAN-facing Interface IP Address: 10.8.0.0 /24 Boaz Router Interface Loopback 0: 10.15.0.1 255.255.255.255 (that's the correct subnet mask: /32) Routing: router ospf 1 network 10.8.0.0 0.7.255.255 area 0 Eva Network: WAN Interface: S0/0 (Goes to Center) IP Address: 10.2.0.2 /30 LAN-Facing Interface IP Address: 10.16.0.1 /24 Boaz Router Interface Loopback 0: 10.23.0.1 255.255.255.255 (that's the correct subnet mask: /32) Routing: router ospf 1 network 10.16.0.0 0.7.255.255 area 0 Quote Link to comment

Daghang Salamat! :flowers: Sir, with your present work, just make the most out of it. mahirap mag gamble changing job that could actually let you handle actual routers, switches and other networking equipments, practice practice ka lang through simulation, pero kung desidido ka talaga na lumipat at makaranas handling actual equipments,or gusto mo maging net admin. kailangan mo mag certify para mas solid ang resume at kailangan din yung skill mo. already interviewed by AT&T. Basic questions lang, how to do password recovery, step by step on switch at router, upgrading ios ng router, routing protocols and stuff....ganun ang questions nila for teir 1 support. tier 2 and 3 different story na yun. 1 year palang ako as net admin, disgrasya lang na napunta ako sa present work ko,since we used to go to corporate clients ng PLDT,madalas madaming nag o offer ng work, what i did eh namili na lang yung may best offer :-) Quote Link to comment

Karagdagan tanong lng poh.. pre madami ng CCNA ngayon..kasi yung ccna modules ino offer na sa mapua, dlsu as elective sa mga COE,ECE students nila. that was 3 - 4 years ago pa nag start..so expect mas madami na ngayon.competition sa market padami na ng padami,so experience comes in na dyan kung pare pareho akyong Certified na..meron naman kasing mga certified na " by the book" lang ang alam at walang actual exprience sa routers..believe me madaming ganun hehehe goodluck sa training at future job hunting mo as network admin. di dapat bababa sa 30k..pero again depende sa experience, skill at knowledge mo sa ina applayan mo at most important kung kaya ka pa swelduhin ng companies sa asking mo hahaha Quote Link to comment
