hi guys im a newbie glad there are dog lovers here i have 3 breeds of dogs 2 chihuahuas 1 adult 1 pup 8 boxers 4 are co owned and 1 dobe anyone here into dog shows or a member of DTO?

Depende yan, bro. My cousin used to have this kind of breed, kaya lang they have to sell everything coz they migrated to the US. Shar-peis are dominant and stubborn, they hate water and they grow fast. Kaya pag madaming wrinkles pag puppy mas mabuti kasi when the grow old nawawala ang mga to until sa mukha na lang ang matira. You have to have that "top-dog" mentality when training the dog para galangin ka nila to. Socialization is a must para di ka mahirapan pag may iba or magdadagdag ka ng ibang breed. By the way, kahit na ayaw nito sa tubig, kelangan mong paliguan to frequently kasi iba ang amoy nila. . My cousin had 7 to 8 sharpeis and they would really stink up their whole garage. :sick:

 

Overall: Must proper train and socialize them para di ka mahirapan.

 

Price range: for a quality pet pup na male: 10k; females usually mas mahal

this is a breed thats a little hard to maintain in hot weather well this dogs are bathed with dilluted betadine kasi madali mairitate ung gitna ng folds ng skin and pag di naalagaan ung irritation nagsusugat ung bang parang may mange but syempre if you can take care and maintain this dog maganda to.......... the main characteristic of this dog is the tongue gums and roof of the mouth should be blueish black.... and i think this dogs wer bred to be food back then........ mahal na pagkain to

not necessarily coz u can only bathe a dog a maximum of 2x a week kasi madali din mag dry ung skin and madali masira ung coat pag pinaliguan mo everyday what sharpei breeders do was wash it up with betadine i think its regular for maintainance ung parang thinner consistency ng betadine ang ginagamit then they dillute it i think a gallon of this around 900 or 1800 cant remember anymore tagal na kasi eh dait i had sharpei din pero i gave up and also siberian huskies kaya nag alaga nalang ako ng mga dogs that could easily adopt to hot weather or tropical weather ayon nakapagproduce ng champions

Ano bro problem na na-encounter mo sa Sibes? Plano ko kasi mag alaga nun. Sabi sa akin adaptable naman na daw yung mga Sibe dito kumbaga ay "tropicalized" na.

look for a good breeder na may ok na "island born" usually papakita nila sayo ung mga double coat ok un pero with this climate sasakit ang ulo mo baba ang resistensya ng husky mo and maglalabasan ung mga mange etc tapos palagi panting not unless bibili ka industrial fun and tapat mo sa kanya or a/c tuwing tangahli besides that wala na ako iba problem....... meron papala they don bark but they howl....... katakot takot na reklamo nag makukuha mo dito sa kapit bahay mo hehehe and it needs lots of activities takbo kayo 1 hour a day parang kulang pa and may pagka escape artist ang mga husky ha kaya di sila inooff leash and coat care mejo suklayin din un........ and maiinis ka pa pag nag mat na ung buhok sa may pwet..... not a good guard dog yan ang pinaka description nila sa mga books and hard to train coz they tend to think na ur playing when u teach them or something like they think ur an idiot when you do thinks repeatedly thats what the book that i have read said no offense sibe lovers................. but if ur really serious i can introduce you to reputable breeders :thumbsupsmiley:

one more thing they can be tropicalized and they can survive kaya lang if you wont give them proper supplements that really do cost a lot and quality food bagsak pa din ung coat try to go to dog shows this weekedn there is one in sm city doon sa the block b un sunday around 1 to 5pm cguro ang husky gaganda nun un nga lang aircon talaga ung mga yon

Got that, bro! I've been studying the breed for about a month now coz I've been really wanting to have my own pet dog. So far all what have are Beagles (2) and shih tzus (2), and so far di naman kami nahirapan. Pero what I want is to have my OWN dog, yung ako lang ang magaalaga. Yung iba kasi tipong family pets eh. I have a friend who breeds Sibes and I hope pag pwede na sa kanya ako kukuha. But if not, then I'll shoot you a PM for referals. Thanks bro!

no prob man but a suggestion do try to go to dog shows and ask around about the breed mababait mga tao doon di din masyado ok ung mga nakasulat sa books na standards mas ok ung makikita mo talaga kasi ung sa books parang kulang iba ung actual na nakikita mo and ung lakad bite etc masyado bitin discriptions sa mga books and sa mga akc site eh....

 

ganda din beagle adopt dito kaya lang mabilis makaamoy ng pagkain i think ung cover ng PCCI quarterly ngayon is a beagle

and shih tzus i heard na nakakapagexport tayo ng mga quality shih tzus abroad

I was suppose to attend last weeks SH show held in PICC. Sobrang ganda daw ng mga Huskies. I hope I'll be able to squeeze sometime to attend to upcoming shows.

 

Our Beagles are quite old now pero grabe talaga pang amoy nila.

last week nga ata un ung PSHOW ata un nationals ng husky un kaya labasan ng mga magaganda un kasam ba ung friend mo doon? usually sundays pag pcci show ang siberian husky dati meron sa mall of asia 2 day event un pero sunday husky

Di ko nga rin alam kung nakasali yung friend ko coz of the typhoon. The last show I saw was the PPC show sa Tiendesitas. My friend's pit was a runner-up for the weight-pulling category. Sarap sana mag alaga ng APBT, kaya lang medyo delikado sa bahay.
