digitalsober Posted January 5, 2005 Share Posted January 5, 2005 madami nagssbi... ok daw pitbull! :cool: i guess, misconception lng sa breed na yun yng being aggresive and having the tendency to attack people... meron kme german shepherd and a labradori really dont like the german shepherd... masyado syang malaki! and they smell bad kahit paliguan mo! :sick: nanunundut din ng pwet yun eh... hahaha! gs2 ko yng labrador on the other hand... coz nice yng breed na yun, clean... and madali maintenance nla... hindi cla bumabaho compared to the shepherd! :cool: playful cla but not rough, cuddly din cla being a medium sized breed...and pansin ko... excited yng labrador maligo prti! yung dog pa yng tatakbo towards us... kpag alam nyang papaliguan na sya... ok db? :cool: Quote Link to comment

Neo34 Posted January 6, 2005 Share Posted January 6, 2005 may nagbebenta rin sakin ng labrador e, pinagpipilian ko pa between un and golden retriever.how is the labrador, during puppyhood? maamo talaga? or may tendencies pa rin mangagat? ok ba siya sa mga bata? nice pic NEO34. magpopost din ako soon. kakatakot naman yang pitbull mo! may bakal bakal pa na chain! hehehe...<{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok pareho ang labrador retriever and golden retriever. parehong playful during puppyhood. if you will notice parehong retriever yan kaya they have some things in common. mas hairy nga lang ang golden retriever at mas mahal compare to labrador. napakaliit ng percentage na mangangagat sila ng tao especially when you bring them up well. yung pitbull ko nakakatakot lang ang itsura pero mabait sila sa tao. pinalaki ko kasi sila na sanay sa mga tao. yun nga lang. talagang malalakas na aso sila. they can pull 3 to 5 times of their body weight. sometimes kaya rin hilahin ng isang pitbull yung tamaraw fx. tulad nitong nasa picture na pitbull namin. he was 50 lbs. then and he can pull 900 to 1000 lbs. would you believe it? malakas talaga sila, especially when you train them on weight pulling. May narinig naman ako sa isang vet na hindi nagugustuhan ng doggie ang Pedigree, pero sa dry food lang ito. Preference ko para sa mga babies ko Alpo, whether dry or canned. The 1st PUDA Protection Dog Trial of 2005 will be held on April 17, Sunday from 9:00 am - 4pm on the grounds of Global City, the Fort in Taguig (near the area of Chow King towards the helipad). There will be competitions in both Level 1 and Level 2. This is a start of a new season culminating in the PUDA Nationals toward the end of the year. See you all! ******* Agility Competition results -- Similar to the Great Outdoor Game Agility.. held at Bacolod last April 10. Results:Results of the 1st Nat'l Agility Trials: 1st Place : YODA -Bacolod (Belgian Malinois) 5 faults 2nd Place : TOSHA -Bacolod (Pitbulll) 6 faults 3rd Place : BARON -GenSan (Belgian Malinois) 10 faults 4th Place : MECHO-Bacolod (Cocker Spaniel) 11 faults We had lots of fun .... and so did the more than 5,000 who came to watch the trials. This august or september -- GenSan people will sponsor the next agility competition -- and we the Manileños will once again be there to compete! ******* Phil. The 2nd post is indeed an activity announcement related to K9 world... I figured that if MTC dog lovers will converge into a group, might aswell be familiar with all the activities relating to it.. Anyway, it's really no big deal if the thread is transferred for the meantime... however if I may ask, how do go about in creating a chapter or group? and who is authorized a create one?
