Maganda beach dun kaso anlayo sobra. I used to work there sa Sta Ana in one of the casinos there. From manila to Sta Ana we would travel by land for about 12 hrs, Pag abot dun bugbog na katawan namin sa pagod.

Yes pag by land talaga sobrang layo and tagal ng byahe, road trip talaga.

I find The Sand or the Beaches Up North way hotter than those down South. I don't know if my observation is true Or is it just me? Hehe.

How would Baler compare with Pagudpud? And Caramoan?

mas maputi ng slight ang sand ng Pagudpud (not Boracay or El Nido or Dolomite levels, but good enough). and unless its summer, you usually can have the entire Hannahs resort or even the local Saud public beach to yourself. not much hotels to stay at and the local market is as quiet and dead as a remote Ilocos town can get  (which tbh why i love it).

if you are into surfing or beach partys and the laid back with the community scene, u might find Baler a better fit. Medyo Siargao feels sya, or La Union (which is weird, coz Elyu is basically Pagudpuds black younger brother).

havent been to Caramoan though. isa lang naririnig ko feedback: ang ganda.

I'll second the motion. Furthermore, Baler Beach have aggressive waves which makes swimming not wholesome. Party and drinking at a laid back beautiful baler is nice too.

Real has ssome white sand beaches just past the surf spots

real, quezon? have been to the remote sandbars of Mauban. very nice. yon, boracay level ang puti ng buhangin (even better coz. more pristine). and bluish green waters like palawan.

problem lang di 24hrs ang electricity. am not the camping type of person anymore, maybe 15years ago. now i need the aircon pag hapon and gabi.

best beaches imho are in the Vizayas Negros region. Lakawon, Sipaway, Kalanggaman, Bantayan, etc.

yes punta ka muna mauban port (from manila about 6hrs by car, ewan ko now commute wala na direct bus manila to lucena eh so u have to go to binan first before u go to lucena tas may shuttle or non aircon bus to mauban port 2hrs zigzag paakyat pababa sa bundok) then boat to cagbalete island.

BRING PACKED FOODS. walang restos. may sari sari store 50pesos ang sardinas.
