i used to have lego when i was a kid. sobrang gusto ko ung spaceship and truck. i remember i would let them crash together, head on collision. sarap ng feeling. haha.

 

then ung mga bago kong lego na mejo complicated.. kapag nabuo ko na siya eh ayaw ko ng galawin. sarap lang kasi tingnan habang nakadisplay. too bad i dont know where are my lego now. nasa province na yata pero i must admit hindi ko masyadong ginalaw un at hindi ko din ganun na-enjoy kasi nga mahal at usually nawawala ung mga bits and pieces kapag nilalaro namin dati..

We almost have the complete LEGO STARWARS collection.

 

Di ko masyadong nahalata ang cost nito since I bought all of it in the states.

 

Dito sa Pilipinas, grabe ang mahal! Maybe mga P200,000 na lahat ito.

dati may chance pa kaming gumamit ng mindstorm nung nagtuturo pa ko - robotics class for the students pero kung ako lang bibili para sa kin, no way, kahit yung mga maliliit lang, masyado nang mahal

Trip down memory lane to! I love Legos too! Kaya lang nung bata pa ako, napapabayaan ko lang, lagi may nawawalang block.

Why is LEGO here in the Philippines more expensive than they are in other Asian regions? In other countries, they sell LEGOs at almost a third of the price, that's what's discouraging me from buying locally.

I still collect lego sets. Mostly star wars sets that I find on sale.

spent quite a lot on this already for my son, from lego city, to star wars, pirates of the caribbean, harry potter, indiana jones, etc. tho i have no complaints, sulit for me as he really enjoys building it. problem lang is where to store it, as of now we just store it in storage boxes so eventually it can't be helped that some of the pcs fall off. we need to have a sort of a "show room or casing" built for them. one thing we also learned is that if you order it in the u.s., specially the big and expensive one's, it's about half the price compared if you buy them here in the phils (build city and hobbes and lands).
