If you have Php 35M, that'll only get you a condo in Rockwell.

Php 75M gets you only a land in one of the middle posh villages

Truly rich people don't flaunt their money, they share it.

LIBRE! LIBRE! LIBRE! Hehehe.

Samantalang yung mayayaman, s sobrang normal saknila ng mga bagay na yun... they don't even care at all. Quiet lang.. low profile.

f*ck yeah spot on.

may napansin ako ha, kung sino ang magaling mag ingles ingles at mahilig sa " Yo Pare" , sila ang hindi mayaman. bale r35gtr's law of wealth goes " Wealth is inversely proportional to the English spokening capability of an indibidwal"

I have attended a property management meeting in Cebu. may isa sa amin ang galling magsalita . akala ko marami siyang building na pag aari , yun pala umuupa lang ang hinayupak ng space

I'd still prefer self made. Those are the pioneers. If you were just the 2nd generation or the kids who inherited the wealth then there's no challenge because the hard part was already done... establishing a business, making a profit. In short, may capital ka nang malaki to expand. Kaya iba parin ang 1st generation old school start from scratch. That's why I don't listen to my wealthy friends, I listen to their parents or grandparents who started it all. Only exception to this rule is that kung ang 1st gen is the whole family, kasama yung mga anak na nag banat buto nung nagsimula mag negosyo at hindi kung kailan maunlad na.

If you think rich, behave rich, talk rich, and let thoughts of abundance fill you, in time you will be truly rich. :)

That's only psychological.

You're forgetting the part wherein you pour in 99% sweat to your success.

What you'll be getting here is truly rich in either debt or frustration because only feel you are due.

"Possessions make you rich? I don't have that type of richness. My richness is life." - Bob Marley

IMO, based on the people I've encountered and worked with, it's the nouveau riche that have this type of mentality na too show off, spend dito, spend dun, konting angat lang ng business/career kung ano ano ng luxury agad agad. The richest people I've met very simple lang; it's like they really don't have to prove themselves/their success to anyone.

Agree with this. Especially for self-made people who knew how hard it is to move up in life, they know it's not how much you earn, but how much you save (and invest) that matters. And they have the confidence, and feel no desire to compete in terms of flashy possessions.

usually the real rich people are those people who are simple and down to earth... those people who just earning big or have a high position in the company. those are people who are feeling rich, coz they might have an expensive cars, but it was acquired only through car loan, and they might have a big house but they are just renting it.

i think in general its human nature, not just pinoy culture, na magyabang. Yun iba naman misinterpreted, di naman mayabang but just simply living their lives - syempre, nagpakahirap kumita kaya gusto mag-enjoy.

Karamihan sa kanila di naman mayabang, maayos kausap and are not into outrageous living.
