By the way I have a Celestron 127, Maksutov Cassegrain Telescope 1500 magnification and 5 in diameter. Motorized pero ngayon sira na, so minamanual nalang. Na bili ko sa greenbelt sa Makati, sa The Cutting edge. Meron din dito Cutting Edge sa Trinoma. Jan ako bibili ng next na telescope ko. Quote Link to comment
Ricky02
Hi stargazers! If you want to use your android phone to learn about the constellations I suggest you install Solar System scope( free) but you may invest on these paid apps. You will not regret: Vortex Planetarium, Sky Safari Pro, Mobile Observatory, Meteor Shower Calendar and Moon Phase Pro. Happy sky watching! Quote Link to comment

mrbig86
If you have access to BIR head office in QC - along BIR road, the roof top of their main building is perfect for stargazing. Just make sure you're not afraid of creepy places as the building can be quiet creepy during night time. Edited August 21, 2021 by mrbig86 1 Quote Link to comment

Rechsteiner
Jupiter is high in the sky in the evenings. Easy to spot. If you have good binoculars or a beginner telescope you can easily spot its 4 moons (though they appear as points of light). Still its amazing that we can see them. Saturn should be visible as well, but a higher powered telescope is needed to spot its moons and rings. 1 Quote Link to comment
naughtyman
try stellarium app on Android not sure kung free din sya sa OIS. this app will guide you sa stargizing. makikita sa app na ito ang real time position ng mga stars, planets & moon. Isa sa mga best months for stargazing ang december up to march. This time kasi lumalabas sa gabi ang mga magagandang constellations such as Orion bukod pa mga Jupiter and Saturn. Kung nasa madilim kayong lugar pwede nyo makita using binoculars ang Pleiades or yung tinatawag a seven sisters. Quote Link to comment
