camus Posted January 14, 2019 Share Posted January 14, 2019 anyone who tells you to follow your passion is giving you bad advice. you should make a career out of something you are good at, not passionate about.if you are both passionate and good at something, then that's perfect, but thats rare. usually its one or the other, not both. often you are passionate about something, but not good at it. if you dont believe me just watch the elimination rounds of american idol.the contestants are so passionate about singing and they are super confident in their ability... then you hear them sing and its awful.they get crushed when the judges tell them the truth. some contestants even get angry because they are so deluded they dont believe what the judge is saying.
