see this photobucket link:

sobrang mahal sa bohol beach club so we opted for the Alona Tropical Beach Resort, which turned out to be quite a surprise, maganda at ayos facilities pero mura lang! ang pinakamura nila ata ay P1,200k+ (P900 lang pag off peak season) per person per night in a two bed non-aircon room and includes a breakfast of your choice....pasensya na, di masyado detalye ang info, di kasi ko na-ilista mga nagastos ko dun.....

wow! nice pics u have there. danda naman ng mga view. lalo 2loy akong na excite. mahal ba talaga sa Bohol Beach Club? based sa feedback na nakuha ko maganda daw dun. Can you compare its quality with Alona Tropical Beach Resort? Thanks sa response mo. :thumbsupsmiley:

Bohol is my sanctuary.  I go there at least once a year. The last was right after christmas.  Accesible. Not as commercialized as boracay. The people are very friendly. Food is dirt cheap.

The best way to go around the island is to rent those 50cc motorbikes (ala honda dream) at P100 per day in Tagbilaran city and just fill up the tank. You will be amazed at the places you can go, the sights you can see, even without a guide.  Ask any boholano directions, they may point with their lips, but they will point you to the right direction. You can get as far as carmen (chocolate hills) in as little as 2 hours.  Masaya lalo na grupo.

Make your base panglao or tagbilaran.  Then go on from there.

Must visit:

1. Tanglad Iced Tea and Organic Buffet at Bohol Bee Farm (Panglao)

2. swim with the dolphins and if your really lucky with whale sharks of Pamilican Island (Baclayon)

3. Tarsier Farm (Corella)

4. Mag-aso Falls (Antequera)

5. Awp-awp Grille (Maribojoc)

6. Sweet tuba from any sari sari store in Calape

7. Camp Magsaysay (Bilar)

8. Fresh kuja (oysters) in Kainggit Beach (Tagbilaran)

Internet access is available. Cell sites in most towns.  Beer is cold in most places.

For those who are into alternate reality activities, this too can be sourced out locally.

Thanks CANTSLEEP for your input! :thumbsupsmiley: nagkaidea tuloy ako about the motorbikes. What i originally had in mind was to rent a Van pero mas mukhang masaya pag 2 wheels gagamitin.

for a 3 day stay, more or less mga magkano kaya kelangan na budget? para lang ma prepare ko na ahead of time. ;)

See you there. Sabihin mo refer kita. :hypocritesmiley:

You can opt to stay in tagbilaran city where there are afforable pensions/inns. Or you can stay in panglao island where most of the resorts are located. go to alona beach there are several resorts

that are easy on the pocket. With your cebu pacific ticket promos tht will take you during the low season

you can bargain with the resorts that are open. i think they have a website of bohol province.

enjoy your trip.

Also include the following:

1.  Chocolate Hills (there are now two viewpoints); must see you can spend overnight cheap lang

2.  Loboc River cruise (with lunch);  must see

3.  Loboc Church with the unfinish bridge;    >>> katangahan ng DPWH.

4.  Blood Compact site and the nearby old church;  picture taking lang

5.  The man-made forest; and,  ala masyado

6.  Alona Beach (named after Alona Alegre) in Panglao Island.  >>> yup good reasonably priced

Enjoy your trip and summer vacation...........

pwede rin mag quickie jan pag wala tao ... yup mga bandan sunset, but mahirap magswimming near there kc walang sand sa harap.

tight budget go to Panglao, sa tabi ng BBC is Alona Kew, hinde masyado mahal, on the other side og BBC is the public beach, same lang naman ng frontage, malinis nga lang sa BBC.

on the way to Panglao, daan sa Hinagdanan cave, or sa Baclayon.

Things you should do is the Loboc river resto ride after.

If you're on exclusivity try Jul's, masakit sa bulsa but oh wow, sarili nyo beach and mas malaki chance na wala ibang tao.

On tagbilaran marami rin naman mga beach/resort sa city na reasonable price, pwede na dun.

Basta when I go there sa Bohol ala ako bayad ... bakit kaya ?

been to bohol last march. it was a blast. we had a hectic schedule thou. we stayed at balicasag island beach resort. the place was very peaceful, coz it's away from the crowded resorts of panglao and bohol beach club and the likes. it's just you, the sea and your mate. nice!

Been there twice in the 90's. It's a beautiful place. What we did was hire a guide to take you on a day tour. We stayed at a resort in Panglao Beach and since there are not too many souls out there, we really enjoyed the serenity. If you're a diver, this is a must see place. Nearby Balicasag Island has a coral wall meters from the shore!

The beach beside Bohol Beach Club is Dimalauhan Beach. the fare in Bohol, I suggest you rent na the van from the port already. They will charge around 2k - 2.5k. Inclusive of drop off and pick up from the resort (any of your choice) and the day tour. Standard ang cost. You just have to choose the best van or car coz some are brand new..so good deal na kung medyo bago ang car or van. Don't go for the popular resorts because they charge so high though amenities wise..ok naman. But if you are on budgetted trip, you talk to the driver of the van..they have connections with the other resorts like the Dimalauhan Beach. :) ok na.
