:boo: .... tama 1st timer to be rich yung mga unang nagsusuot ng lacoste ....

not sure what you mean by steam washed. hand washing is the gentlest washing method i can think of aside from dry cleaning. for me ala akong labandera kaya machine washed lahat ng mga damit ko. i find the trick is to iron it inside out. do not iron directly yung labas nya, dahil honeycomb nga ito, mas delicate sya kumpara sa insides, kaya you shld iron that side instead. of course do not use any bleach para di malaspag yung fabric.

thanks taklesa.. really appreciate the tip

Lacoste here is quite expensive.

If you guys know anyone going to Singapore..especially during the Great Sale ... you can actually buy Lacoste shirts from S$25 to S$50. S$ is about P33.

Now thats a bargain. And you can be sure its authentic. bawal fake sa SG.

yun nga lang SG Sale i think starts July.

does 'hindi maka-afford' mean the face of jinggoy, the skin tone of binay and the grammar and diction of garci?

grabe naman, di naman ganoon ka mura dito - unless you chance upon their warehouse sale. i was told namakyaw ng lacoste si tito sotto when he came here for the asian television awards. the normal price here in singapore is about 1K cheaper than in manila. so around 3000 yung shirt, SGD85.

i missed their semi-warehouse sale a couple of months ago, where they were selling womens bags. these were going for SGD20-35, and the original price was 150++. yung problema sa mga ito, eh exclusive, they only invite special clients, nung nalaman ko na friday 7pm na, alas 9 sila magsasara, at cgurado akong tira-tira na lang yun.

bawal nga ang fake sa singapore, but it does not mean na walang fake. ingat sa mga "sale" in the hotel conference rooms, some of them are questionable.

2. Nope. I also have/wear other brands like POLO, Topman, CK, Celio, Guess, Armani even U2, Esprit and Giordano

3. Now mostly shirts - Classic, Sport, roundnecks, etc. Also some shorts. Before, even socks.

4. Shirt and a black jogging suit circa 1995. :thumbsupsmiley:

I like lacoste because it is fashionable.

But I really hate their selling price for their merchandise.. its so f*cking expensive!!!

What I own are not polo shirts or tees.. but Lacoste Chausseurs.. or what we call "shoes and or sandals"

I've got a Lacoste Sneaker which I bought in Shangri-la.. it is now 8 years old.. and still alive.. maganda parin sya at maporma!

by the way i think lacoste should just stay in polo shirt, hindi naman kasi maganda ibang product nila like shoes and bags (in my opinion lang po) but their shirts are great though.

by the way im going back to manila this feb do you know where can i buy better price original lacoste aside from the outlets thanks!

i think your experience with shoes stem from the fact, that noong panahon (i.e. 8 years ago), everything is done in france and us. ngayon, it is either done in vietnam or somewhere else where it is cheaper (i am talking only about the shoes and bags).

so in the "olden" times, it was good, it might not be the same as now.

btw, for those lacoste collectors, i've seen a limited edition golden crocodile range of lacoste. this time, they used their brains and kept the size of the buwaya to normal. not like their anniversary shirt, na they've thrown out their taste right out of the door. anyway, it comes in black, and naturally cost a bit higher around 4-5K Php yata.

hey bata! it's been awhile... :D

the OC person that I am, i have to reply per item basis...

most popular brand in the country? m not too sure about this

but maybe for the past few years, lacoste has been top of mind

in terms of fashion brand. i think to those who like the brand,

it's top priority.

as for your questions, allow me to answer per item:

1. the clothes, it's very durable and they use good textile.

of course, the croco insignia is much sought after especially

now that there's a prpoliferation of fake lacoste goods.

bags and leather goods, it's fashionable, durable, trendy

and it's use if universal.

shoes, not really for sports activities but for casual wear

it's very comfy. since most of their designs are in white, you

have to be careful using it less u want it dirty looking most of

the time.

scents, the past 2-3 years has been good for the lacoste scents.

they've come up with several. my personal fave, lacoste red.

the scent is to die for!

2. i really cannot say i am a fanatic but i do visit their stores

regularly. i check out their clothes and bags most of the time.

3. several lacoste shirts, several lacoste bags and purse,

a pair of lacoste shoes and three bottles of lacoste red.

4. a lacoste sports shirt in red given to me by a relative.

i've had it for like 5 years.

====================================

can i suggest a possible question or topic? hehehe...

which lacoste store do you like visiting or which store has

the most number of stocks?

for me, i'd say the stores in gateway and podium are good bets.

washing tips for your lacoste

1.  hand wash always

2.  never have it dried under the sun, air dry lang dapat

3.  buy large / wide hangers yung hanggang sleeves para hindi magdeform

4.  iron gently

these shirts should last 10 years and more because of their prices!

I don't iron my lacoste. I (the maid pala) use a steamer. I wore my oldest lacoste shirt, a circa 1993-94 solid red IZOD Lacoste long back on new year's eve. I tuck the shirt though because it's too long.

The gold edition lacoste is very expensive in Rustan's. It's 5k+. I didn't buy. :grr:

Medyo OT pero my wife prefers the fit of the Giordano ladies tee than the lacoste and I agree. Shorter sleeves and narrower waist. Mas sexy.

well actually it is. i bought some Lacoste shirts during the Great Sale at Paragon and it was priced at a low $40-$50. then it was brought down further to $25-$35 at the last week of the sale. i did asked the saleslady why it was priced so low and she said that some shirts were produced only for the sale so they have to dispose of everything.

for me, it's their GB3 store, spacious! Rockwell, Rustan's Makati (only drawback is the women's and men's section are on different floors!). If they don't have the style and size you like in their stores, chances are other stores won't have it as well. The staff will call other stores to find out for you.

One thing about Store Specialist is that whatever you buy or wherever you buy, bring to any of their stores and they will exchange it without question!!!! This is true customer service!

But honestly, kung saan ako mapadpad at may tintadahan and Lacoste, duon ako bibili!

are you referring to cotton t-shirts or polo chemise? coz chemize is a staple here, so it cannot be made just for the sale season.
