Yes, it's a smart move to get yourself screened even when there are no symptoms.(immediately as baseline then 4 weeks post exposure) If you're going to keep enjoying this activity, just always use protection and never go live.(not a guarantee against all sti's) Have fun and stay safe! It so happens na carrier ka pala pero undetectable lang kasi napaaga yung test mo. Is it possible to transmit the virus to other partners habang undetected yung virus? Like, parang dormant yung virus kaya hindi nadetect thru tests. Depends on the type of test I suppose, if it's HIV you can opt for the newer 4th generation test that looks at both antigen and antibodies so you can have a shorter window period. It can start detecting at the 3rd week mark.. 6 weeks to be conclusive I believe for this one, while 3 months to be conclusive for 3rd gen antibody test. While there are more expensive and sensitive tests like the RNA that can detect at 10 days. I've read that you are actually most infectious during the window period for HIV.(feel free to argue, I'm not 100% sure) 1 Quote Link to comment
