According to KFC, the Double Down has 540 calories, 32 grams of fat, and a huge 1,380mg of sodium.
The American Heart Association recommends that for every 1,000 calories of food consumed, the sodium intake should be 1,000mg and should not exceed the 3,000mg limit. The Double Down has already exceeded the recommended daily sodium intake. A diet that is high in sodium can result in health risks such as an elevated risk of heart disease and high blood pressure, which can lead to further complications, including kidney damage.

Super polluted pa din ba sa Beijing ngayon?
Not as much as Metro Manila. I got back last Friday from a weeklong stay in Beijing. Vehicles there use mostly unleaded and natural gas for fuel. No diesel. Factories are still a problem but there is so much vegetation around that it helps absorb the volatile organic compounds.
Beijing is such an amazing city. It just manages to keep transforming itself even ahead of the world.
There is a pending plan for one of the districts in Beijing to construct an elevated bus that is as wide as the highway. The thing is, vehicles can pass under the bus, thereby preventing traffic from being held up while buses stop to drop off and pick up passengers. It's still in the planning stage and won't be realized for some years because this type of bus needs reconstructed highways as well (wide enough to accommodate the buses when they turn, and the signposts to be high enough so as not to obstruct the elevated bus).

Has anyone actually paid or is paying any attention to you?

I frequent Howzat Sports Bar (8471 Kalayaan Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City) to watch rugby, football, F1.
Great place, very pleasant staff. However, it is seriously discouraged (as should be in all restaurants/bars) to order just one (1) drink (i.e., beer) and stay for the whole 80 to 90 minutes,
During the FIFA World Cup finals, the table next to ours had 8 customers, 2 of whom had their laptops open and plugged into the bar's electricity sockets, 2 ordered a pilsen each, and one brought in a Cobra energy drink from Mini Stop (naka-suksok pa dun sa plastic habang iniinom niya). The service crew kept asking them if they would like to place additional orders and were ignored. Around the bar, people (some were regular customers) were standing, waiting to order, and some left because they didn't have any tables.
That was very bad customer behavior and they got annoyed looks from the rest of the patrons who were there. If people like them cannot afford to shell out for the drinks or food, then they should just stay home and wait for the results of the game in next day's paper.

^^^ I love it too but the $140,000 price tag is making my head spin
Another old favorite although I wouldn't strive to get this as much as I would the Sprinter and Mini Mark V --

Cebu lechon is the best. No need for any special sauce. I love CNT.
In Metro Manila, I agree that the best in my experience is Sabroso Lechon. An added perk is that the pork they use in the lechon comes from free-range pigs.

Everyone’s entitled to be stupid, but you are seriously abusing the privilege.

I’m impressed. I’ve never encountered such a small mind inside such a big head before.

I'm lucky enough there's in and out about a mile from where I live...
very few locations that's why it's always packed.... always heavy traffic in the drive thru one time I got stucked for
40 minutes but it's worth the wait.. the best burgers the best milkshake...
I think they only have it in cali, utah and az...so I doubt that they will go international....
true but i'm just being hopeful
i mean if P.F. Chang's is opening a branch at The Fort soon then... maybe... maybe.. someday..

I looove Bagoong Club Resto!
Ambiance is very casual, food is very good (I personally recommend Menudong Bagnet, Kare-Kare, and of course their Bagoong Samplers), and the price is just just right.

Dear you,
You just sang a medley of "Karma Chameleon," "Mistake No. 3," "Square Room," and "Sunglasses at Night" while twirling around the lamp-posts.
I think I need to expand my capacity to accept insanity.

I miss Doña Nena, which used to be at the corner of Tomas Morato and Roces Avenue.
I liked its food and the quiet ambiance.
