A bit of unsolicited advice here: The tech's right, the symptoms definitely points to a hardware problem - could be the video card, or worst, a logic board problem na. Akshali, there are methods that you can do to try and fix it temporarily pero just like you were told, they are no guarantees and the issue just might randomly happen again.

 

Magiging problema mo dito isn't just the cost of repair alone but the availability of spare parts for the specific model you have. Just for the trouble alone, I'd say just save up for a new laptop.

 

You can, for the meantime, remove the hard drive from the mac then get yourself a 2.5 enclosure from CDR king tapos use it as external HD na lang, pwede mo pa ma-recover yung files mo.

Yeah. I'm saving up for a new laptop now. I'm using an old windows laptop for the meantime. What's a good mac built for heavy usage with big screen? sabi kasi nung sa shop, my mac is not built for the abuse I gave it (i use it 16-20 hours a day). Or i might just need to really go back to windows as that seems like the cheaper option for now.

mac users... i need your advice. So I have an old MBP early 2011. I was using it for graphic design until one day it just died. I took it to a shop (not an apple store because it is already out of warranty) and they said it is the video card. it is stuck in the apple logo screen and the logo is pixelated. they said they can't fix it because most of the time, the issue with the video card will just happen again.

anybody who experienced the same thing? am i better off getting a new laptop? (ouch!). the mac is still dead. and I'm using an old windows laptop.

I'm addicted to it. Just got home from MOA. Nest sya ng magnemite and voltrob. Along the bay area, magikarp and poliwag too. better hunting ground than greenbelt in my opinion.

I tried megamall and shangrila, but i was not so lucky (internet issues). I'll try it again one of these days. Plannng to go to BGC next weekend to see if it is a good hunting ground and probably baguio before the holiday.

I have seasons 1-26 of Doctor Who classic (with a handful of missing episodes) and Seasons 1-9 of the Revived series. I think I'm all caught up since season 10 is set to start on 2017 pa. total of about 300GB.

I found doctor who classic series seasons 1-26!!! there are some missing episodes. i'm downloading the entire series now... it will take months! but i will persevere!

I need help! replacing my old laptop's HD. I have a voucher from Lazada so I'm planning on getting the HD there. However, I don't know the difference between a desktop HD and a laptop HD. If anybody can please help me find an internal HD for an acer aspire laptop from Lazada, please send me a message.

great insight! I like it a lot. if what you said is true then no wonder the red lady has so much more hope in Jon than Stannis. I cannot wait for Daenerys and Jon to cross paths. The writers will surely find a way to make sure the wait is all worth it.

 

My theory is that to prove that Jon is a true "Blood of the Dragon", he will be made to demonstrate that like Daenerys, he is also immune to fire. This is one way that he can prove to Daenerys that he is a true dragon and make her accept him as a Targaryen. Remember Daenerys' brother Viserys? She thought less of him when he was killed by fire (well, technically molten gold). Hence, it could have an opposite effect if Jon was to survive fire. For more dramatic effect, Drogon's dragon fire. Hehe.

 

When Jon Snow was murdered by the Night's Watch and lay dead, I actually thought they will try to burn his body and it will demonstrate that he is immune to fire, and perhaps even reborn by it. Considering the theory that Jon is born of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark has long been a fan theory.

Jon snow is not immune to fire. Remember the time he saved Jeor Mormont from the wights? His hand was burned.

I thought she used a body double sa Vaes Dothrak scene. nasa contract nya na di na sya pwede ng nudity so they had to use a body double. Same with cersei sa walk of shame nya. she used a body double and they just super imposed her head dun sa body double. But she confirmed that she didn't use a double for the vaes dothrak scene.

Villains, I can't get enough of the Daleks. Annoying as it may be, the "exterminate" line of these things kinda makes me want to exterminate them myself.

I wrote this really long post and pressed something on my keyboard and everything went away. Urgh.

I didn't like Martha up until she and Mickey hooked up. She was too clingy. Although she did kicked ass as the woman who walked the earth. She's one tough girl compared to the others.

I love the Daleks, laughed at the Zygons (giant penises with suckers) and cried because of the Weeping Angels (it is very difficult to keep your eyes open). Donna Noble was hilarious. I love that episode with Agatha Christie. I was devastated when Amy and Rory broke up, good thing we have the Doctor. River Song is one lucky woman.

I'm not a fan of Clara. She's probably my least favorite companion so far.

I want my own TARDIS!

I agree with this. I was still young and inexperienced when I saw Sliver. While watching it, I was thinking, "I want that too". This movie might have awakened hidden desires.
