  1. it maybe true that said judge admitted his mistake

pro ang point is nagkamali sya o nde. depende sa opinion ng judge kung ano ang ibibigay nyang score sa isang round.

It's not "it maybe true"; it is true. The judge made the admission the day after the bout.

  2. Is it true that the Barakos are trying to aquire the services of the Mailman Karl Malone for the coming Fiesta Conference???

Too bad that didn't work; my hunch is the deal fell through because they didn't agree on the price.

Belichick has been taping since 2000, Goodell tells Specter

By LAURIE KELLMAN, Associated Press Writer

    February 13, 2008

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Bill Belichick has been illegally taping opponents' defensive signals since he became the New England Patriots' coach in 2000, according to Sen. Arlen Specter, who said NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told him that during a meeting Wednesday.

"There was confirmation that there has been taping since 2000, when Coach Belichick took over," Specter said.

Specter said Goodell gave him that information during the 1-hour, 40-minute meeting, which was requested by Specter so the commissioner could explain his reasons for destroying the Spygate tapes and notes.

"There were a great many questions answered by Commissioner Goodell," Specter, the senior Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, told reporters after the meeting. "I found a lot of questions unanswerable because of the tapes and notes had been destroyed."

Goodell said Belichick told him he believed the taping was legal; Goodell said he did not concur.

"He said that's always been his interpretation since he's been the head coach," the commissioner said. "We are going to agree to disagree on the facts."

Specter, from Pennsylvania, wants to talk to other league officials about what exactly was taped and which games may have been compromised.

"We have a right to have honest football games," he said.

Goodell noted that "we were the ones that disclosed" the Patriots' illegal taping of the New York Jets' defensive signals in Week 1 of last season. Further, Goodell said, they had an admission by Belichick.

"I have nothing to hide," Goodell said.

Goodell also told Specter that that he doesn't regret destroying the Spygate tapes or the notes.

"I think it was the right thing to do," Goodell said.

Still, Specter wants to know why penalties were imposed on Belichick before the full extent of the wrongdoing was known and the tapes destroyed in a two-week span. Asked if he thinks there was a coverup, Specter demurred.

"There was an enormous amount of haste," Specter said.

He scoffed at the reasons Goodell gave for destroying the tapes and notes, particularly about trying to keep them out of competitors' hands and because Belichick had admitted to the taping.

"What's that got to do with it? There's an admission of guilt, you preserve the evidence," Specter said. As for keeping the tapes out of the hands of others: "All you have to do is lock up the tapes."

Belichick was fined $500,000 and the team was fined $250,000 because of the Spygate incident. The Patriots also forfeited a first-round draft pick.

Specter has questioned the quality of the NFL's investigation into the matter and raised the possibility of congressional hearings if he wasn't satisfied with Goodell's answers. Specter also raised the threat of Congress canceling the league's antitrust exemption and reiterated that in the meeting with Goodell.

Goodell also said he has not heard from Matt Walsh, the former Patriots employee who performed some videotaping duties for the team.

Walsh told The Associated Press last week during the Pro Bowl in Hawaii that he couldn't talk about allegations that he taped a walkthrough practice by the St. Louis Rams before the 2002 Super Bowl. New England, a two-touchdown underdog, won that game 20-17.

Goodell said he has offered Walsh a deal whereby "he has to tell the truth and he has to return anything he took improperly" in return for indemnity. Specter said he, too, wanted to talk to Walsh and perhaps offer a different deal.

Goodell also said he reserves the right to reopen the investigation if more information is uncovered.

  4. wow PATS still goin clean :thumbsupsmiley:

this is the time of the season were you throw away all the stats and play the game as if it's your last. anythin can happen. hopefully PATS can dominate and win the Super Bowl clean.

    :mtc:

The Pats doing that would be history for the NFL. It would be a record that's hard to match, like them or not.

  5. hahahahahahahaha dami talagang bobong pinoy ganito lang

    ride na kagad!!!

Hindi naman bobo, but desperation is what's making people invest in things like this.

Looks like yun naman strategy niya--to just run around. Sayang lang di siya inabutan ng todo, kundi matagal ng tapos yung laban.

  7. Mas mahal pa sa best seats nang Fallout Boy yung pinakamura ni Josh Groban a. Parang hindi nga sulit.

Di naman, sulit pa rin since it's Josh Groban. I have yet to hear of someone actually not like him (aside from the YouTube trolls).

  8. Josh Groban Live in Manila

    Oct 17 and 18

    PICC

Oct 17 - by invitation only

Oct 18 - Tickets will be available on Sept17

    Price range: PhP5,000 to PhP25,000.00

Wow, this is a dream come true--but then again, the ticket prices are so high. Who is promoting him here anyway? I simply don't like these elitists who think they are the only ones who have the right to listen to songs like Josh's by pricing the tickets way out of the common crowd's range. There is a need to get Josh Groban more known to many Filipinos, and making him inaccessible will not cut it.

  9. yeah, i learned my lesson the hard way... :( although if you ask me, i think the 100kph speed limit for NLEX is a tad too slow. i'd say it has to be 120kph at least.

That is right. Cars these days are built for both speed and safety. 100 kph was the limit when cars could go to 120 kph max (I'm exaggerating, of course). How much is 100 kph in mph? I don't think it goes past 75 mph, the speed limit for freeways in the U.S. Heck, I was able to do 90 mph on some stretches from San Diego to Palm Springs, CA without state police coming after me.

  12. Many are finding this to be getting weirder and weirder; it's reported someone posted on Wikipedia that his wife died 6 hours before it was discovered. That is weird. I think the speculation is up that there's more to the story. Investigation isn't final, so we'll have to see where it actually leads to.

  13. Benoit’s son suffered from Fragile X Syndrome; speculation over whether pressure was too much

    Written: June 27, 2007

WWE.com learned from an interview conducted Tuesday by Vancouver’s News1130 that Chris Benoit’s son Daniel possibly suffered from Fragile X Syndrome, a genetically passed-on condition that results in impairments ranging from physical and learning disabilities, to more severe cognitive or intellectual disabilities.

In the interview with News1130, Pam Winthrope, whose own 12-year-old son suffers from Fragile X Syndrome, recounted how she and her husband talked to Benoit about the condition five years ago.

“We talked to him because I was trying to set up a support group in B.C. and in Canada; we only have a couple of them,” she said. “My husband was struggling when we got diagnosed with our son, and Chris was struggling with his. They talked for a few minutes, and then he said he didn’t want to be a public face for Fragile X. He just wanted to keep it really, really quiet.”

A source close to Benoit recalls similar conversations with him, where he described his son’s condition as “a learning disability much like autism.” This source quotes Benoit as saying “Daniel wasn’t capable of interacting with other children and was afraid of other children. Daniel also had a hard time making eye contact with everyone, which was another symptom of his disability.” Benoit also claimed that his son was on medication for this condition.

Winthrope discussed the pressures facing parents of children diagnosed with Fragile X syndrome. During her interview with News1130, she stated that families can be torn apart by the disease because it's very difficult to find help and support. Winthrope added, "You as a parent have to go out there and find what's available and it's not easy -- they don't tell you."

A co-worker and long-time friend of the Benoits speculates that perhaps the pressures of home and Daniel’s illness had gotten to him, causing him to snap and take the lives of his wife and son before taking his own.

“Is it possible that after Chris killed Nancy (for whatever reason), he felt Daniel wouldn't be able to get the care and attention he required as a special needs child (if that is indeed true) with no mother and a father either in jail or dead? Did he then decide that the only way he could protect and take care of his son was to take him to the next world and go with him? In his warped and twisted state, did he think this was the only way to shield his son from a difficult life of pain and hardship? It doesn't condone or justify a damn thing, but it's the best reason I can think of. I'm trying to put together some semblance of logic for his actions, but it's an impossible task trying to explain this.”
