That i havent logged in mtc for years and that im having more fun interacting now than before when it became so chaotic with "up ko lang" posts and non sense remarks, thats why i stopped logging in my account in the first place. The board is better moderated now, good job mods and more power :)

  2. Actually I'm not too familiar Sir. siguro any car naman usually first 3 years maintenance free. Pag subaru kasi maganda sa casa mo lang talaga pa maintain. And I think sa parts expensive talaga siya kasi it's not very common compared sa ibang brands. So kahit siguro anong ingat mo one day may kelangan na palitan sa car. Pero minsan mga casa kasi they're into preventive maintenance, kaya they will talk you out to change this and that kahit di pa sira, which will indeed cost you on the short run.

I'd happily settle for a wrx also . Kahit yung impereza na recent generation looker narin. If nanalo lang ako sa lotto or makaipon I'd go for the WRX Sti haha

Every part on a car has a life span, this is based on the mileage you are running the car, casa recommends you to change a particular part at about 80% of the said part’s lifetime. You could always opt out, but keep in mind that if that breaks down in the middle of the road, the car could stall on you or worse be the cause of an accident, ako I always err out on caution that’s why if a certain part needs to be replaced even if it’s not yet broken I have it changed, intact I also change my fluids and oils way before it is due.

  3. For me pick up is the best daily driver, convenient, economical gas consumption, and if i need to hall something large i just put it on the bed, my pick up has a comfier ride than my SUV,

Crossovers are popular also nowadays as they tend to fall in the price range of most upper tier sedans , but keep in mind that the space inside is smaller than sedans, with the exception ofcourse of the vios, mirage, etc.

  4. care to elaborate on that?

So that we wont go too far off track, heres a spec sheet on the new civic type r

Honda Civic Type R 2.0 MT Turbo 2018 Engine Size

    2.0 L

Displacement 1,996 cc Number of Cylinders 4 Number of Valves 16 Transmission Category 6-Speed Manual Transmission with Rev-matching Function Power Train Front-Wheel Drive Max Output (HP) 310 hp @ 6,500 rpm Max Torque (nm) 400 Nm @ 4,500 rpm

Rev matching function is useful for those not used to the pedal dance,

with a little fiddling with the computer box and new exhaust i think this will hit hit 400hp easy

  5. Definitely! well in fact there are other contenders aside from Civic Type R, WRX STI and EVO, there's Focus RS and the Golf R. and these cars have been in the market for years, the STI and EVO battle has been gone for years. EVO production has been discontinued since 2016.

Dont mean to be OT but i think Mitsu has something in store for the Evo fans, but no definite date on the unveiling yet
