    pre thats not solicited. i really appreciate you taking the time to come up with a write up every week.

    i guess the other guys appreciate it as well pero shempre in a macho society as ours medyo nakakailang ang magsabi sa ibang lalaki na ok yung ginagawa nila. buti na lang i'm in touch with my feminine side. hahahaha

    how much discount will we get sa main tournament if we join the pocket tournament?

     

    kasi parang ang mahal naman ng main tournament. with a reg fee of 5000 plus 8800 (11 games) that comes out to 13800 per team. and we 're thinking of fielding two teams so 27600 ang ultimate damage namin.

     

    malamang we'll join the pocket tourney and from there we'll decide if we'll join the main tournament.

     

    if you join the pocket tournament, the reg fee automatically goes down to 3000 (with 1500 refundable at the end of the tournament). if you win the tournament, registration fee is waived.

     

    yung 8800 will not be paid at once... instead, every game may playing fee na 800 pesos. bakit ko naisip na ganito? kasi it makes accounting easier at nang sa ganun yung mga nagbabalak na magkwestyong muli sa aking integridad e makita agad kung magkano ang hawak ng liga.

    again, all these are just enough to cover the expenses of the tournament. wala po akong makukuha dyan. we still have to set some budget for other matters concerning the league (as explained in my reply to pizza's post). pasensiya na pero the last time kasi, ang daming reklamo porke't pangit ang venue at bakit di na lang daw sa rfm... kesyo olats yung referees... kesyo hindi ko raw maayos ang officiating dahil mag-isa lang ako sa scorer's table (remember game 3 of the championship???)... to be able to give you what you want, we would have to spend... otherwise, magtitiis tayo sa dati nating setup... yung venue... yung referees... at yung fact na mag-isa lang ako sa table.

     

    this is the best that i could come up para naman hindi mabigat yung paglalaro sa liga... isipin niyo na lang na para kayong nagwe -wed night club kaso competitive at may pride at stake...

     

    not to offend anyone, but i'm just giving my cup of tea.

    ang mahal ng mtcbl ah, bale 13800 lahat ng damage ng isang team

    tapos 2500 per game on the two teams

     

    medyo malabo ata yan, ok lang yung pocket eh

     

     

    actually mura na yan considering na last year e 600 per hour lang ang binabayaran natin sa court kaya mababa ang reg fee. remember na ngayon, 825 per hour na and each game is alloted 1 1/2 hours...

     

    saka isipin niyo rin na 11 games yan, minimum... yung ibang liga nga minimum charge nila is 9000 pesos for six games... (alam niyo yan kasi sumali kayo ng mibl)

     

    also, kasama na sa budget yung ibibigay na pangmeryenda sa table officials (para di naman ako nag-iisa sa gitna... maawa naman kayo sakin.)

     

    and correction po, 1600 lang per game ang makokolekta (800 per team playing). court fees eat up 1237 pesos... referees are paid 250 pesos per game times 2 referees. yung 100 pesos na kulang manggagaling na dun sa initial reg fee niyo. tapos yung pambili pa ng trophies and other prizes, at iba pang mga kailangan ng liga (bola, scoresheets, etc)

     

    kung gusto niyo naman na bumaba ang presyo, i can always revert back to the minor seminary as our venue (na ayaw niyo naman dahil sa mga naririnig kong reklamo from the teams).

     

    anyway, OT na ito... we can discuss this sa MTCBL thread, in respect to poknat and the wed night club pips...

    poknat: 1500 reg fee, 800 per game... minimum 7 games... that is kung mtc team kayo. plus of course, the discount na makukuha niyo sa mtcbl main tournament.

     

    sa mtcbl, regular reg fee is 5000, refundable yung 1500 after the end of the tournament. 800 per game. minimum of 11 games.

    limp - right of first refusal muna yung mga players who have conrtibuted to the fund by playing with us during wed nights. i hope you understand because the fund was generated by these people din and i want to give it back to them. hayaan mo if the 30 slots do not get filled up you will be the first in line.

    guys im limiting the guests to 30 (plus 1s have to be announced)  lang due to size limitations of the venue

     

    help needed

     

    1) sound system - could someone pls bring a cd player and lots of party cds? or maybe an i-pod with good speakers?

     

    2) cooler - we need to stash 5 cases of beer with lots of ice

     

    3) larger venue - we are still entertaining suggestions for other venues as the one we presently have might not be enough to accomodate 30 people

     

    4) plastic utensils (forks, spoons, knife, cups) and paper plates  - can someone please take care of this? super toxic na yung job descriptions namin ni swit lass.

     

    5) fyi lang - this will not be a dinner party. pease eat somewhere else. we will provide the following pulutan - mussels (tahong), chicharon, liempo, roasted chicken, and pancit. i repeat pulutan po yan hindi ulam  if anyone else wants to donate food we will gladly accept.

     

     

    pagnag donate ba ako ng pulutan, invited na ako??? :P

     

    i'll pitch in sa food... just for the sake of fun :) hehehe...

    We are inviting you to participate in our pocket basketball tournament as a warm up for season two of MTCBL.

     

    AS AN INCENTIVE, THE POCKET TOURNAMENT CHAMPION WILL HAVE FREE REGISTRATION FOR SEASON 2 OF THE MTCBL and all participating teams will be given discounts on their registration fees for the said tournament.

     

    Again, the pocket tournament is open to all interested parties.
