Never again. Thought i was alone, so i started practicing the moonwalk. Just imagine me in the living room moonwalking to the kitchen, nandon si lolo iinom ng gamot, isusubo na niya dapat yung pill kaso napatigil siya sa moonwalk ko na mukang nakaapak ng tae both feet.

Don't give up! My moonwalk looks bad, but it's a nice transition move and a great swag move.

Usually, oo naman. Pero hnd yung tipong chauvinistic ah.

Pero may mga times din talaga na nakakahiya..tulad ngayon.

    Basketball country ba..? Pweh

I think that's the general vibe. We all love the Philippines and feel proud, but there are some times we feel disappointed.

Basketball hits all Filipinos hard kasi it's our favorite sport talaga.

Makes you wonder kung ano'ng kulang. My guess is money, opportunities, and competition. But that's just my guess. I haven't looked into our basketball programs to see what's lacking.

Fun fact from behind the scenes.

The owl that goes "forever-ever-ever?" Nailed it when the camera was rolling, since they couldn't get it to hit the timing during the dry runs.

These days, they'd just fix it in post production, but it's great that they shot that scen practically with no camera tricks and just a focus rack to the owl.

I used to practice this song!

Still can't nail it, tho. Lol.

Might get back into and give it another go to expand my Karaoke repertoire.

I'm having issues with my Legion 5 where the screen turns black but the laptop is still running. Checked online and it seems its a common issue with no definite fix.

Mine had screen aberrations, like a weird filter was put over half of the scren.

From what I've read, it's the connector to the monitor getting loose or disconnected. Possibly from low quality glue, bad manufacturing process putting less glue, or maybe even poor heat management melting the glue and leading to loose connections.

Mine hasn't been bad enough to disassemble, but it might be as simple as opening it up and pressing the connector back in and applying some epoxy. But, I'm not a computer repair expert, so take this with a grain of salt.

Any thoughts regarding windows handheld? (Steamdeck, rog ally)

None from personal experience, but all the reviews I've seen show that they're running into the same issues that early tablets had where the UI (user interface) and the UI controls haven't been designed too well.

A recent example is the Lenovo Legion Go. LinusTechTips shows weird transitions from trackpad to touchscreen controls when changing from the desktop to Steam. Instances where the back button and the B button don't work. I think some parts also use joystick to mouse controls. This is frustrating for first time users, but power users will acclimate and learn which input to use for which interface.

Overall, these are growing pains that will smooth out as the niche gains popularity and companies unify their UI and UX (user experience) design or put more money into QA (quality assurance), UI, and UX design.

The Hague ruling on South China Sea territorial dispute has no effect on China because we cannot impose our sovereignty over our UNCLOS-based extended territory. We need to spend to acquire more deep-sea capable, high-endurance, off-shore patrol vessels distributed among the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and the Philippine Navy (PN) to make our presence felt and deter other countries (Vietnam, Malaysia, and China) from being too aggressive.

We're lagging too far behind in the "Might-is-Right" gunboat diplomacy.

True, I fully agree. I wish we had the option of speaking softly and walking with a big stick.

But, we should still use rule of law diplomacy to chip away at the CCP's soft power while we develop our naval defense capabilities. Like, mentioning it every time the CCP incites an incident. I haven't been watching all the news on it, so it's possible the naval officials that make appearances have been saying it, but I think they should if they haven't.
However, I recognize that diplomatic matters are up to the President.

I actually haven't heard of Malaysia or Vietnam's aggression against the Philippines and feel that we should make stronger alliances with our ASEAN neighbors, in general, since the nine dash line affects all of South East Asia. But if they are hostile, we should still form alliances with other countries to strengthen support against CCP aggression.

I love that song, but it's such a tonal shift from the movie.

If you hear the song without seeing the movie, you'd be surprised by the movie being titled "Armageddon" and that it's an action adventure movie about a space drillers saving the earth.

Damn. I listen to this and Eye of the Tiger when I run.

That movie is so good. Studied it in film class.

Sylvester Stallone wrote, produced, directed, and acted in the movie. He wouldn't sell the script or agree to production if he wasn't the lead role. It sounded crazy, but the results speak for themselves.

Sly was the guy for the job.
