Try the steaks at antonio's or at the steakhouse inside tagaytay highlands. Heavenly not to mention the setting and atmosphere contribute to the quality of the food. The prime rib for two at highlands is perfect. And try it medium-rare. Great food and great date places too.

OutBack, Edsa/Makati are good for any steak but the Prime Rib is as good as you'll find for a good resturant in the US. San Francisco Steak house, Alfredo's, tender bob's, country waffles, fishermans warf, Melo's a number of places mostly are in the same class "average" Surprising is Gerry's has a just as good steak for a cheap price. Old time favorite ang Alfredo's. Oks din sa Bianca's sa Yakal St. in Makati. And siempre, there's Melo's.

i like my steak medium rare to medium well depending on my mood.

prince albert is still excellent for prime rib but for a charbroiled ribeye, meat plus or tender bob's is pretty good. alfredo's kinda relies too much on their great tasing sauce while gulliver's although cut thick, was kinda not as tasty as the meat from tender bob's or meat plus.

unfortunately though, meat plus and tender bob's aren't as good as before. still pretty good compared to most steaks in the city but not as fantastic as before.

prince albert is still consistently tops in this city but is a little pricey.

my all time favorite steak, though, hands down, is at peter luger's. absolutely the best - even better than kobe and maybe just as good as matsuzake.

perhaps the best steakhouse in Metro Manila is Gulliver's along Makati Avenue. May kamahalan lang nga pero lasang lasa ang quality. I prefer my steaks medium well

Prince Albert for the Prime Rib.

Other steak cuts - maybe Tender Bob's but really nothing compared to Ruth's Cris Lawry's Charley Brown's Morton's and my all-time favorite - Smith and Wollensky

Hmm, my fave used to be Meat Plus in Subic.

But recently, their quality has gone down.

Best in Manila, for me, would have to be CHili's in Greenbelt 1. But Bennigan's and Outback also serve good steaks.

I'll have to try in Prince Albert sometime.

Hahaha!

Well, outside the country, the best steak I've tasted was in a place called "The Stinkins Rose" in LA.

They served this huge 42 ounce steak called the slab.

Soft, juicy, tender and melts in your mouth.

Sarap.
